Same again..........

Pros: Location
Cons: Almost everything as far as first floor rooms and communication with customers are concerned. Try cleaning.
Location: Chinese Market and Chinatown are great for short visits, Sentral Station is 5 minutes away.
Third stay at this hotel. Once again we were put in one of the worst rooms (116) on the first floor above the Market. Very noisy room, small, run down and shabby. We were offered another room for the next day (for the second time) of a two day stay, but were too tired after many hours of travelling to bother. We knew the first floor could be a problem, hence our request. We had asked by email (four weeks before we arrived) for a quiet room and hotel shuttle, but no email reply was received, so of course no notice was taken. The Hotel blaimed Expedia for poor communication. (Unofficiallly) they blaimed Expedia for high charges from them for providing their worst accomodation for Expedia customers, but that is surely no excuse, and something they need to take up with Expedia, and not at their customers' expense. We knew when we booked that this was not pretending to be 5 star accommodation, but it could at least be clean, and they could surely respond to our email requests? The Manager seemed genuinely shocked at our complaints and was a lovely guy, but as this is the second time this has happened it seems that this may be company policy.....The bellboy we asked for help with our heavy bags never materialised, and the Manager did his job for him. Like I said, lovely guy. Bellboy is probably a gonner. Ah well- terrific location for central KL.

Convenient location for a hotel within Chinatown.

Posted 01-Aug-2014
Pros: Clean, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast and security are good.
Location: The hotel location is within walking distance to Pasar Seni Station and Maharajalela LRT Station. Alot of eateries and shopping within Chinatown.
It is easily accessible for bus shuttle to and fro KLIA 1 and KLIA2 to Swiss Inn Hotel and it is convenient located within Central Market and Pasar Seni Station and Maharajalela LRT Station. This is our second stay at Swiss Inn Hotel.

Great hotel in the middle of Chinatown!

Posted 31-Jul-2014
Pros: I love the convenient location ... hawker stalls, fresh fruit stalls, LRT nearby, other tourist attractions within walking distance, temples,
Cons: Quality of reception staff.
Location: Being int he heart of Chinatown, everything is within walking distance ... LRT, chinese restaurants, breakfast special stalls, street food at 3 am.
The rooms, upgraded 2 years ago, are clean and functional; Petaling Terrace Cafe is cosy, the staff friendly, food is suitable for Westerners and Asians. I have used Swiss Inn Chinatown for 7 years. Reception staff are still dozy, except for Vishna and Zoe ... Zoe handles 3 customers, phone, computer, walkie-talkie, calculator and other staff simultaneously.- and still smiles politely. This is quite a feat to watch. The other reception staff are nevertheless friendly and try to help.

Little gem smack in the middle of Chinatown

Posted 29-Jul-2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: More pleasant reception by some dining staff
Location: Central to everywhere. Mrt & buses. Times Square etc
Room quite small but hey what would you pay elsewhere in a downtown capital city. Wonderful helpful reception staff (especially little Chinese Zoe ) . Manager acts like one of the helpful staff. Clean, comfortable, great location, great staff - perhaps the dining staff could be a little more pleasant - who wants a menu almost thrown at you & an expressionless face. Kitchen staff always beaming, buffet b/fast - something for everyone. Was honestly expecting less as it was not pricey and stayed 4 days. Thank you Swiss Hotel from an elderly couple.

PLEASANT ACCOMMODATION

Posted 04-Jul-2014
Pros: Safety is our priority - as long as this hotel do not compromise with safety. Good & efficient customer service.
Cons: The airconditioner Toiletries Internet Service
Location: Located in one of the busiest shopping place in KL. Shopping Walking or bus hopping Eating
Since my family spend our holiday in KL at least once a year, we have been staying at this hotel. We like to stay at this hotel because it is very convenient and pleasat. Most importantly, we like the security offered by the hotel, despite being located in one of the busiest place in KL. The best thing we like about this hotel is, it has easy access to most popular places in KL. It also offer accommodation inclusive of breakfast in a well-organised cafe and varieties of food served. We also like the friendly staff who is fast and efficient in their customer service.

Well located

Posted 15-Jun-2014
Pros: location
Cons: Provide metro and bus route maps at the reception.
Location: China town, night bazar, Central market. the hotel is close to KL sentral so the connectivity is good.
Wi fi was a disappointment. Did not work in the room, had to access mails sitting in the corridor.
