“High quality at a budget price”

Very happy to recommend this hotel for tourists travelling without young children. The caveat about young children is only because there is a section of stairs (about 10) which may affect those with prams. Else, no problem. Our room had no windows. Some do but the view is of the street. This was not an issue for us as we used the hotel primarily for sleeping. We used their restaurant twice and had great food & service both times. The internet service was a bit quirky, but worked in the end. The hotel is in the middle of Chinatown, so you step out of the calm of the hotel into a v busy place. This is what we wanted. Full marks!

“Excellently located budget option”

With its cafe entrance spilling directly into KL's Chinatown night market and its front entrance surrounded by dozens of excellent food vendors -- clay pot, steamboat, satay, durian, whatever -- this hotel is ideally nestled into one of KL's most vibrant and interesting neighborhoods. It has a slight ramshackle feel, initially (its front and rear halves are awkwardly connected), but it's clean and -- especially given its location -- quiet and comfortable. The staff here has been very accommodating and professional. There are much swankier hotels in KL, of course, but at nothing like this price or location. If you're OK with an oddly short shower curtain or a less-than-perfect carpet outside your room, give this one a shot.

“Great location and comfortable.”

The hotel was in a great location with the Petalling Street markets just outside. We stayed in a family room which was very spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had arrived early and were given free coffee/tea vouchers while we waited for our room to be ready.

“Impressed”

The hotel was quite good considering the price. The breakfast was excellent, the rooms were clean but did not have any windows. The hotel was also near the bird park, butterfly park. I would recommend it to others.

“top value”

Excellent value for a hotel in this class at this price. Room was spacious, well presented, everything in good condition, absolutely nothing amiss. Sometimes the reception desk seemed a little undermanned. The breakfast is quite ample and has enough choice even for a fussy vegan like me. The location is convenient, walking distance from Puduraya bus station and in the heart of Chinatown. Definitely recommend.
