Dining
Lemon Garden Café - In this buffet-style restaurant, individual theater kitchens serve Malay, Indian, Chinese, Italian, and Continental dishes, with a tandoori oven, large seafood tank, wood-burning oven, and indoor herb garden. The adjacent coffee bar serves specialty coffees, freshly baked breads, croissants, and cakes. Open from early morning until late evening.
Shang Palace - A grand red door, a replica of Beijing's Forbidden City's Duan Gate, leads into this opulent Cantonese restaurant. An intricate wall carving of nine dragons, a gallery lined with timber columns, and numerous works of art continue the Imperial theme. Serving dim sum and classic Cantonese and Chinese dishes for lunch and dinner.
Zipangu - Styled like a Tokyo brasserie, this contemporary restaurant features a walk-in wine and sake cellar and a cigar lounge. A glass wall separates the main dining area from the kitchen, allowing diners to watch chefs in action. Three open-kitchen counters prepare sushi, grilled dishes, and kappou specialties. Open for lunch and dinner.
Restaurant Lafite - Dark-marble columns lead into a circular dining area with curved ivory and gold curtains, spherical lights, and shimmering glass beads hanging from the ceiling. The cuisine is contemporary French with Asian twists, and vegetarian options are available. Open for lunch and dinner (closed Sundays and public holidays).
Lobby Lounge - Floor-to-ceiling windows overlook a garden with tropical fauna and fountains. Musicians perform on a raised fiber-optic stage. Specialty coffees, teas, snacks, and cocktails are served from mid-morning until late evening.
Arthur's Bar & Grill - A perfect place for social gatherings, this Manhattan-style bar and grill serves a variety of beverages from refreshing beers to signature cocktails and an extensive list of wines served by the glass, complemented by a selection of international and local cuisine.
Lemon Garden 2Go - The design of this coffee area incorporates acid-treated copper, stainless steel, glass, and curved flooring with zebra ribs. A boat-shaped serving station offers drinks and snacks to eat on the premises or to take away. Open from early morning until mid-evening.
Poolside Terrace - Canopied by sun umbrellas and surrounded by landscaped gardens, this poolside bar serves beverages, snacks, and local fare. Open from mid-morning until early evening.

“Highly Recommended !”
Highly recommended. clean comfortable rooms, great service, close to all the shopping centres in KL !
“Fantastic Stay”
Stayed here in November 2011. We had booked a club room but were given a free upgrade to a suite on the 26th floor. Room and view were excellent. Staff could not be more helpful or friendly. The free afternoon tea and later drinks and snacks were all of excellent quality and came in with the price of the room. The breakfast is extremely comprehensive and good quality. The hotel is about a ten minute walk from the KL Tower and the Petronas Towers. There are bars, clubs and restaurants in the imediate area. The light railway/tram was within a five minute walk and you could travel all around from this station. would definately stay here again.
“Luxurious but friendly place to stay”
This hotel is beautifully designed and quite luxurious. It has a large garden and pool area, that are tranquil and quiet despite being the heart of the city. The rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable . The buffet breakfast is truly amazing - such a huge choice of hot and cold foods from all around the world. The staff are very helpful and friendly - a very pleasant place to stay in KL.

“Great price for a 5 star hotel”
Spent 5 nights here. Quality is top notch. Service is fantastic. Highly recommend this hotel!
“Beautiful Hotel”
Shangri La KL is a beautiful hotel without a doubt. The staff are more than helpful and so serving and generous. The beds are to die for and its just a pleasure to stay in. Raja Chulan and Bukit Nanas monorail are only a 5 min walk away and an abundance of bars and restaurants are directly across the road. A 5min walk down to Petrona Twin Towers and easy access to taxi's to get you anywhere!
“Good hotel in an average location”
The Shangri La Hotel is excellent value for money and the buffet breakfast whilst not cheap by Malaysian standards wasexceptional. The pool was a nice area to relax in but the gym and spa is restricted to those over 18. The hotel is conveniently located to the Menara Tower and the surrounding gardens are worthwhile exploring. The hotel is a fifteen walk to the David Wangi train station which takes you several stops to Chinatown and the Central Market area. The hotel is a fifteen minute walk in the other direction to the central Bintang Walk area where all the major shops are - it's worth going to the Pavilion Shopping Centre basement for the food court which provides very good meals at excellent value - it is worthwhile going to the cinemas on level 5 of the Pavilion Shopping Centre - ticket prices are considerably cheaper than Australia. Food is also cheap in the Central Market complex on the 2nd level. The butterfly park is lovely for kids as well as the nearby orchid gardens.
“Will definitely revisit this hotel”
We had a lovely time at the hotel and will definitely go back.
“perfect for KL”
This hotel deserves it's high status on trip advisor. Exceptional servic, care and attention to detail.
