“Handy Hotel”
We stayed in 3 different rooms on 3 occasions over 2 weeks. An overall good hotel with the only little bug being the bathrooms could do with a makeover. The rest of the place including meals were great. Close to monorail(3mins walk). This is really a plus to get to some of the malls and KL sentral rail station. If using taxis make sure the driver knows where it is, as it is on a side street and we found 4 of the 6 drivers didnt really know where it is. Tip: always carry a map with the address highlited of where you want to go. A great city.
“good value for money”
good location, clean rooms. Breakfast spread is meagre
“Good for a boys weekend just to lay your head down after a big night out!!”
Better than average!
“Longest check in ever !”
Do yourself a favour and avoid this hotel - 90 mins to check in and was then advised that our room with 2 queen beds was not available - but we were entitled to a free upgrade...happy days we thought. The upgrade room we were given was filthy with one king bed - Informed staff of this .. they then found our original room with 2 queen beds - again room wasnt that clean dusty and bathroom was grotty- All in all we wasted 2 and a half hours just to get in our room. Wifi in room was a disgrace and had to stand outside room near lift to get signal. On a positive note the staff were really pleasant and helpfull ( just not organised) but the place badly needs overhaul.
“Not Satisfied”
You have to take care of your valuable things and do not leave it in the room. There is no safe in the room so take such important things with you when you go out.
“Good value for money - away from the hustle and bustle”
I stayed for a week in the deluxe room. Room was big, bathroom and shower great. Short walk to little India, Masjid jamek markets and Police mosque. Also very close to LRT station Breakfast is okay and acceptable for what you are paying. Rooms are cleaned daily and doesn't hurt to tip the cleaning staff to get quicker service! ;) The best way to get to this hotel from airport is take the ekspres train to KL central and then catch a metered taxi to the hotel. (dont try to catch the LRT from central as it is a fair walk and lots of stairs, unless you are not tired and you dont have a lot of luggage) You can pick up free daily english newspapers from reception. Each room has menu in case you want to order food from the cafe and its pretty good and their service is quite fast. side note: you need to pay 50 ringits to use the phone inside the room. i made quite a few local calls as well as mobile but somehow they did not charge me when i checked out, I got my deposit back in full. Make sure you hold on to the deposit receipt though. Some minor issues: -Old and faint smoky smell from carpets and curtains. Smoking is permitted inside the rooms and this sometimes carries over via the aircon. -karaoke bar across the road and that gets loud sometimes at night but its not too bad as long as the room windows are closed. - Some of hotel guests were loud and kept opening and closing room doors late at night. (Not really hotel's fault, just inconsiderate guests) -Internet connection issues
“Its OK”
The hotel is nice, Value for money. Staff are very friendly. This was my third time in this hotel. The standard of the breakfast drop. The breakfast is not suitable for western visitors. Fried Rice, Fried Noodls with lots of chill. Overall this hotel is ok. Very close to transport and shopping malls.
“10000 Likes :) Awesome place and the view that i never expected!!!”
Hotel staffs were very nice, helpful and smiles all over!! i checked in at 3:00am and they took about 3 min and gave me the keys.. the room was spacious with super cool beds and an awesome view over looking KL towers which i never expected!! Complementary water, coffee, tea they even had Iron box :). Very near to Petronas Towers and KL towers. 5 min walk to mono rail station and taxi's around the corners of the street, nice restaurants next to hotel.. i enjoyed my stay at Prescott inn, i shall certainly go again and recommend this to everyone.. hey and one important thing, they have complementary breakfast, continental style, the bread is so soft it melts in your mouth.. a great value for money at such a good place..! Awesome :)
“Gives a bad name to malaysian hotels”
Horrible breakfast, noisy location and bad neighbourhood
“Good Hotel in KL”
This was a nice clean hotel with comfortable beds. The bathroom was a bit cramped. Staff very helpful. Fairly decent breakfast included although mainly chinese food served. Do not go to Malaysia with travellers cheques, hard to cash better take cash!
