“Enjoyable stay at Parkroyal”

This hotel is so convenient, just walking distance to the shopping malls and the foodcourt at Lot 10. The monorail is within the shopping mall only abt 30p one way to more malls and Chinatown. The hawker style food in Lot 10 is so cheap and delicious abt £1 for noodles or rice. Shop till you drop as there are so many shopping malls all linked to each other. You can also walk the streets in the surrounding area and see much more. Free shuttle to Petronas but make your way back yourself. Bring umbrella as it is the rainy season now.

Hotel clean and well maintained with large and comfortable bar area,coffee shop and three restaurants. Staff very polite and extremely helpful. The location of the hotel was such that there were a number of local and very reasonable restaurants around and also several large shopping centres. Also the city tour hop on/off bus stop very close as is the monorail stop. Would definitely return.

I was very happy with our hotel choice. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was great and everything we had to eat at the hotel was of a high standard. We had a small problem with the shower head but once we informed the concierge it was fixed by the time we returned to our room that afternoon. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

“Parkroyal Hotel with "orchard club" upgrade”

This trip to KL we decided to again stay at the Parkroyal as it is a very central located hotel in a good district for shopping, restaurants and things to see and do. We decided to upgrade to the "Orchard Club" which proved to be excellent decision. The Hotel, since we stayed last time, has had an extensive upgrade to the rooms and other facilities and now has a very high standard of luxury, convenience and functionality especially in the rooms allocated to the "orchard club". We cannot comment to other rooms in Hotel. Rooms are very large with king bed and wonderful bathroom facilities, plenty of hanging space, cupboards & drawers etc with colour TV, tea& coffee making facilities, fridge, excellent lighting. Orchard Club upgrade is worth the extra money. Large Club lounge has magazines & newspapers and TV and also mid-day snacks, fresh fruits, juices, coffee between 12noon & 5pm. Cocktails, beverages & canapes from 6pm to 7.30pm and Breakfast between 7am & 11am. Lounge open 7am to 11 midnight. Guests also have complimentary pressing (2pieces) or laundry services (2 pieces) 2 pieces per day which we used and was an excellent efficient service and worth having. A lot of extras avaialbe with Orchard Club for only a moderate extra charge. Only negative is no guests Sauna but Hotel is further upgrading a building next to hotel which hotel owns and this will include a guest sauna and other sports & recreational facilities we were advised.

It's a shame I only stopped the one night, it's one of those rare hotels where they have got everything right in my opinion from the decor to the service to the food. The room was superb and the bed was comfort itself. There is also a very impressive shopping complex very close by. I would recommend this hotel to anyone without hesitation. Superb!!

Stayed in Park Royal KL for three nights in August 2011. Staff were very helpful Hotel has Wifi but not free - expensive to use - we stayed in 3 other hotels in Vietnam - in 2 of these Wifi was free. To me it seems it should be provided these days as a normal part of any accommodation - like TV. Room was very small - smallest of any hotel stayed in. Swimming pool was the best of any hotel stayed in.

August 2011, we stayed for seven nights and were very satisfied, great location within walking distance to great shopping and eating places, this really is a top hotel and we were very satisfied with just about everything, however we have travelled in asia many many times and have a really good idea of what a top hotel should be like, the hotel needs to supply free internet connection for their guests as most top asian hotel now do, and they ought to rethink what they charge for drinks around the pool and from the mini bar, I found that ten dollars australian for a standard beer is way over the top, but don't let this small matter put you off, you really won't be dissapointed Brian, Perth Western Australia
