“EXCELLENT HOTEL - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED”
This was my third stay at the Hotel Melia and i wouldn't stay anywhere else in KL. Staff are very friendly, professional and helpful. Room was a good size, nicely appointed, excellent bed, good pillows, roomy bathroom with a bath, nice, big towels. Buffet breakfast is very good. Swimming pool is excellent. The hotel is very convenient to the Bukit Bintang tourist area with everything you need nearby. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough.
“excellence in KL”
great rate, extremely friendly staff, well trained, excellent food service particularly dinner buffet with its variety of foods, terrific location. unhappy that rate increased dramatically for one night extension. otherwise well recommended.
“very nice”
very nice place to stay close to the monorail thank you
“The Level is worth the extra money.”
We paid a little extra to stay at "The Level" at this hotel and it was worth it. We didn't have to wait to check in or out. The service in the excludive lounge,/restaurant/reception area was wonderful and the area was quiet and comefortable. And the free snacks and cocktails were a bonus. When my wallet was stolen, the staff in the downstairs area were not very helpful but the staff at The Level immediately found, and rang, all the phone numbers I needed to report my credit cards stolen. They spent almost an hour helping me. One other delighful suprise was the presentation of a cake on my birthday which they had learned about when helping my husband arrange a dinner for it without letting me know. The pool was quite small but very nice because it was mainly in the shade and remained cool. The only reservation I had was that the arrangement of the room and air-conditioner meant that, although the coffee table side of the room was comefortably cool, the bed remained at about 24-26 degrees Celcius. I definately recommend The Level.
“Nice hotel”
Great hotel, my only complaints are no free wi-fi and I got a room facing the street which was noisy (traffic) and the bed was hard.
“Never stay at 5 star hotel again”
Very well appointed hotel, lacking in every other aspect, my personal experience of smaller family owned hotels and guest houses leaves me thinking that the corporate management world of five star and above rated hotels have got it all very very wrong.
“Nice experince and good Hotel”
It is a wonderful hotel , and location is too attractive specially that you can go everywhere using monorail of IMBI , But I arrived at 11 am and they did not give me the room till 2 Pm which made me so sad, BREAKFAST was perfect and one of the best selection that i had.
“Location”
Meila location is very good, value is expensive for the services they provide.
“Good but not 4 star”
The hotel was conveniently located with the Times Square shopping centre across the road from the hotel. The breakfast was okay but every time you got up to get more food the waiter would give your table to someone else which made the experience stressful. The staff are not very helpful considering it is a 4 star hotel and the rooms were very comfortable.
“Value for money”
As we were given discounts on our booking, we were surprised at the quality and friendliness of the hotel. The included breakfast had a good variety , their cooked omlettes were great. The coffee was not so good, but I found that to be generally in KL. The hotel staff were excellent in answering our enquiries and organising transfers back to the airport. Would have like to have used the swimming pool, but its change rooms were undergoing renovations and I did not feel comfortable going in the lifts dressed in my cossies and towel, maybe they could provide robes instead. Even though the hotel is a little dated, the rooms and beds were clean and comfortable. Its location to the monorail was handy. When returning to KL, would definitely return.
