“Not Impressed”
The hotel was very basic. It was convenient to the monorail station. We had great views of the Petronis Towers. Breakfast was very basic but acceptable. Reception staff were friendly. There was a damp musty smell in the corridors and in the room. Lots of mould in the bathroom. The area was very noisy at night time. Cleaning staff were not very efficient. After being out of the room from 8 am till 5pm we returned to find the room still hadn't been cleaned on 3 days. When we then asked for it to be cleaned it entailed the cleaner walking in taking the rubbish and leaving. The linen wasn't changed for the week. The lounge cushions around the pool were mouldy. They have a taxi desk at the front of the hotel which we used to organise a taxi to a hotel near the airport when we left. They tried to charge us a lot more than it had cost us for a taxi from the airport when we arrived, the driver continually used his phone while driving at 140kms p/h (at 1 stage it was in a 70km zone), went the wrong way down a dual carriageway for a number of kms, got lost a number of times. Lucky we weren't on a time frame to catch a flight!
“Convienient KL Hotel”
Only major fault was the lights in the bedroom. Not one for each side, just room lights and you have to get out of bed to switch off the lights. We had a suite, which gave us access to a lounge, with free food, coffee, soft drinks, the daily papers and a couple of computers. The area around the hotel is a bit rough, but not threatening in any way. It is convienient for all railway links and there are several restaraunts of all types in the area.
“Would not recommend”
This was THE NOISIEST hotel we stayed at in our 6 weeks away. Between our fellow guests running screaming up the hall at 5am, dogs barking, trains rattling right next door, the lift dinging and a concert in the street it was impossible to get any sleep. Could do with some double glazing. Unfortunately it was very busy and staff were under stress and not up to cleaning properly.
“A Joke of a Hotel”
I really thought that someone was playing a practical joke on me when my friend and I walked into my room. Unfortunately, it wasn't a joke and I was going to be staying in a complete dump for 5 days. The shower had mold in it and the sink and toilet were stopped up. There was no clock in the room so we constantly had to call the front desk to as for the time and the only thing housekeeping seemed to do was bring new towels and make the beds.I went to check out the "spa" which was even more of a joke filled with dirty old men. Gross. The gym equipment was complete garbage and the staff had the nerve to try and charge me 15 RMB for 10 minutes of Internet use! To top it all off, the hotel is in probably one of the sketchiest areas of KL .The only good thing about this hotel was the water pressure and free breakfast. Don't stay at this hotel!
“definition of budget hotel: citrus”
The hotel is relatively new, but it seems that is in need of some renovation already. The room was decent, but the view was horrible, but considering the area then one cannot ask for too much. The bathroom was not in top shape either. The breakfast was alright, even though it is not exactly geared for westerners; however, not bad, just not great. The location was a bit off the map, sort of speak. We made the mistake of not mapping the hotel before we booked, so when we arrived there it was a bit of a shock. Walking though there at night can be scary given the ones roaming the surrounding streets; day time is like a poor area, night time is like the bad part of the ghetto. However, if you can look past that, it is only 15 minutes away from the towers by taxi and about 25 minutes walk from the train station. I wouldn't recommend this hotel unles you really don't mind the neighborhood and are strapped for money. (we are European travelers who normally live in the States, but currently reside in South Korea)
“Very Satisfied”
Would recommened to all travellers. Reception was excellent. Rooms big and relaxing. Nice food down stairs. Overall excellent
“the worst hotel if you still want to call it a hotel.”
refer to my comments above
“Value for money”
Not the place to stay if you want ultimate luxury but for us it was wonderful. Staff friendly and helpful and the use of "club room" facilities an added bonus. Train close by but only a few dollars in metered taxi to city centre.
“Cheap and Clean”
Excellent value for money if you're not looking for a 5-star hotel. The area around the hotel is a little dodgy looking, but it feels more real than the CBD. Safety never seemed like an issue. There's a couple big markets nearby. The closest is mostly cheap clothes, and the other is fruit&veggies. One night had the breakfast buffet includes and it was excellent. Less than 10MYR to take a taxi to the Sentral train station. Monorail is a couple of blocks walk.
“good for travellers on a budget”
good club rooms. Lounge service to club rooms good. Reception staf often unhelpful and/or ignorant of what is asked of them. Good value for travellers on a tight budget.
