We got upgraded 2 levels called something like "club" because they they didnt have the 2 large single beds (premium) that we had booked long ago. We checked-in early in the morning but the room was not ready. They said to come around 2:30 pm -.3:00 pm, so we came then and we were disappointed that we cannot get the 2 beds we requested. We thought the free upgrade will give us the good size beds but that was not the case although everything was nice except the beds were still too small in sizes. One of the important reasons why we booked this hotel was because we wanted to have good rest and sleep in our 2 beds premium sizes, but that did not happen, unfortunately.

The hotel was very nice and the staff very friendly The room was spacious and very clean , Poole area was nice The problem with the pool area is the hotel doesn’t supply towels so you have to bring the room ones and the the Sunna and steam rooms are not supervised with no towels provided , we’re turned off when we visited so had to get them put on by staff , no drinking water and whole place was very bare

Need to improve on maintenance.
It’s an old hotel within a shopping mall. The rooms are quite spacious but the furnitures and fittings are lacking of repair. One of the TV remote unable to power on, wooden chairs are rocking, toilet door knob are loose.

1. 프리미엄룸으로 예약할 이유가 없다. 라운지 조식 식당이 일반 조식식당에 비해 사람이 거의 없다는 것 외에 다른 것이 없다. 라운지 저녁 스낵도 너무 개수도 몇개없고 후지다. 술도 당연히 제공되지 않는다 2. 베지테리언 조식 조식식당 메뉴가 베지테리언 컨셉이라 베이컨, 소세지도 없다. 이런 조식메뉴는 처음이다. 3. west wing 건물 객실이 그나마 수준이 낫다. 4. 전체적으로 rate가 낮다면 이유가 있는것이다.

Berjaya Times Square has always been my choice of stay whenever I visit KL because of the service staff at the counter and it's convenient location. It is located within walking distance to the Monorail and is just directly above a shopping mall. The only thing that can be improve is the quality of the television channel provided, other than their local network, the other channel such as vision 4 had such terrible signal the whole time the screen keeps flickering. Another thing is that the room used to be very clean in the past but now, it has stain and dust all over the room. Overall, wasn't very satisfied with my current stay.

A little slow to check in. We arrived at 2.30pm ready to check in at 3pm. But was asked to wait as the place not ready yet. We only got our hotel room at 4pm. That’s a little late for a 5star hotel. Property is generally clean but the furnish is a little worn out and old, not really keeping up to date. Generally ok, not really wow. What keeps it going is the view which is really good and the very near shopping mall and the indoor theme park. Food taste nice but not much variety. The service staff is really friendly and helpful, especially when I need help with grab transportation. Overall is very good :) In my opinion, the hotel need to upgrade with better furnishings.

This grand old lady is now just OLD.
Was very disappointed with this hotel from the word go despite having a fantastic stay here over a decade ago. The room i had was old, very shabby, the air con was faulty, the bathroom sink was rimmed with mould, the toilet stopped flushing, the sheets had food stains, the lobby was outdated and it was as hot and stuffy as the elevators. We booked 4 rooms and one friend had no air con her room was a furnace and completely lost power so had terrible first night so they kindly upgraded her. Same thing happened to me the next night, was told by the maintenance man at 11pm i needed to move, pack my stuff and await a call from reception so hurriedly stuffed everything into cases but by 3am still hadnt heard a thing and was told they had no idea about situation. Had to go down myself after a restless night and told i couldnt get a new room until after 12 .They kindly upgraded me too so very happy to have air con but new room was very nice in comparison with old one but very basic except for the great walk in wardrobe.This is NOT a 5 star hotel anymore, once renovations are complete it will be a decent 3 star business hotel with an amazing pool. Very sad to see its decline but the staff were LOVELY and really tried their best. Ensure you request a room from lvl 28 down, every above is unrenovated. Still a great pool but Room service all vegetarian which is fine but no longer 24 hr and i missed my 1am club sandwich! Hope the future is brighter here. Thank you to the great staff x

booked 2 rooms with king sized bed for 1 night stay issue 1: was given 1 room with king bed and 1 with two single beds... issue 2: 2 single beded room aircon was so so bad! it was nt cooling at all. it seems like aircon was working issue 3: one of the bath tub did not had a stopper! we called few times to but no one sent it up to us during the whole stay! issue 4: the TV cabinet door FALL AND DROPPED ONTO MY HUSBAND HEAD! HOTEL DID NOTHING TO COMPENSATE OR ANYTHING! on top of this, we were told that this was the first time it has happened! issue 5: found a baby snail in the salard during breakfast - but restruant manager was good and handled the situation well by offering later check-out and on the house lunch buffet(as it was mothers' day) overall- hotel staff and service not good at all! been waiting for them to email me but have not heard from them and been 2 weeks already! very very disappointed and i have no idea how and who label this hotel to be a 5 star hotel! Expedia you got to refund me!

A mixed bag
The experience at this hotel for a 2 bedroom suite is a mixed bag. 7.5-8 / 10. Check in was straightforward. Checkout was allowed at 1 when queried as it was a weekday. The layout of suite booked was as per website which was nice but with issues. Dining seats were dirty and badly stained. Pictures taken and shown to staff who changed it soon after. However the vibration noise from the aircon /external private unit was very loud. Louder than the tv . Staff took over an hour to address it but to no avail. Alternative suite was offered on a higher level but that room had seen better days and the layout and vibe was just subpar. Very different from the original suite booked. Eventually another suite was chosen. Despite a lower floor unit it looked clean, well maintained and the vibe was more suitable for a family. Most importantly no noise from aircon or external private units. Buffet breakfast was decent. After 2nd day we ate out and simply had fruits there. Btw do not offer eggs over easy if you cannot flip well. Minus points for Internet which had to be re-checked in and reset daily. Location was great and being connected to a mall was a awesome given that the temperature soared to 40deg C. Overall stay was. 7.5-8 out of 10. Most helpful staff was Sayed who helped us view other suites and moved our stuff.

Since friday March 20, 2023, had a terrible experience in room B4109. TV was not working. Found out on a later date. TV was faulty all along. AIRCON was not cold for the 3 nights stay. Later found out, it was out of gas. House keeping was terrible as rooms were still dusty and litter was still visble under bed and side table. Vanity set dressing table power plug was faulty and we are not able to use the hair dryer. We had submitted our feedback since day one of stay at reception concierge name Phillip who had taken our feedbacks but was put on deaf ears. Although a room was given on the secod last day of stay, however room look to be a downgrade rather than an upgrade. Chances of staying in Berjaya time hotel again will be very slim.

Location is great walking distance to every attention, the room is spacious but need refurbish as everything is so old and outdated including furniture, amenities. Check-in staff are not very helpful, I have to ask for information regarding breakfast’s time, where are the restaurants , where is the pool, what time it open and shut, etc.

Check in took longer than expected despite filling in their pre-check in forms. Once in the room we found the main room fuse would blow when we tried to turn on the hot water (a switch by the bathroom). We called reception twice to let them know the problem and that we didn't have hot water or any power in the room - no response. Eventually had to go down to reception, back to the room to pack our bags, carry them back to reception then carry everything up to a new room ourselves - a couple of hours wasted on our first night, wasn't impressed. Location is great - monorail right outside, a really good local food court in the mall the hotel is attached to.

Overall ok experience. Accessible to shopping malls and KL. Bathtub was not working properly and wasted money buying bath bars. Door to the toilet looked broken. We had sent our clothes for laundry only to find out that it would only be ready after our check out date. Much thanks to the staff for accommodating and expediting the process. Would not mind coming back to the property.

Not clean at all. The sinks was dirty and moldy. We came back from our day and there was a water leak from the bathroom ceiling. The staff put towels on the floor but it did not get fixed until we went down and complained about it. Decor was old. Staff was friendly. The lobby was nice and welcoming. However, the room was a nightmare. Do not recommend.

Pro- The room was very spacious, clean and with a beautiful swimming pool view. The mattress was hard and very comfortable. The evening refreshment was beyond expectation as all I thought was just a drinks but there was fried rice, samosa, curry puff, 4 different types of cakes, 3 types of fruits and drinks. Cons- No proper explanation was given on the club premier benefits. There were no drinks in the mini bar as stated and also no shower gel but manage to get it after informing them. The water was slightly yellowish with a rusty smell.
