It is a very unique hotel in its own way
The hotel is located far away from Kranj town centre, on top of a small hill. The building is a bit aged that does not have even lift / elevator or air conditioning. It was quite hot during our stay, as we could not open the windows due to bugs. The front desk is staffed only at limited hours. However the mountain view is good and breakfast is adequate too.

Five Stars! This beautiful property is at the top of a mountain overlooking the city of Kranj. We had breathtaking views of both sunset and sunrise. The restaurant had a nice selection of dinner and snack choices, along with several wines and beers. The Continental (Plus Meat!) Breakfast was included with the room charge. The rooms and common areas are decorated in that timeless, clean Euro style.

Really nice view with good chocolate croissant!
There were some difficulties with the reservation, they wanted to give us one room instead of the originally booked 2 rooms. After clarification they gave us the 2nd room so it got resolved afterall.

Amazing view!
The view from the hotel balcony was worth the trip alone! Very quaint and quiet hotel with a spectacular view.

Lovely hotel. Needs some updating and no lift, but overall really great. Food and drinks reasonably priced. Katje provided 110% service!!!

Nice stay
The hotel is on the top of hill with a great view. The room has a nice balcony and breakfast tasteful. If your plan is to stay there, no problem, but not convenient to go around since the hotel is on the top of hill.

The room was a little outdated and definitely needs redecorating, the bed was ok but a little hard and it was difficult to sleep with no fan or air conditioning as it was so hot. However, the balcony was great and the location of the hotel is lovely, with 360 degree views, it's very beautiful.

I chose this hotel because of location; the view is fabulous! Dinner was excellent, as well, but they seemed quite understaffed, making service show.

It has a panoramic view of the whole area from atop a hill with lots of activity. the food at the restaurant is good. All in all a pleasant stay.

Hotel with the best views in Slovenia
the hotel is on top of a high hill above the Sava valley so you are like in a eagles nest,,, it has spectacular views from the room and on the foof there is a 360 panorama terace. The rooms are a bit basic but unbelievable clean and the price is good value. But I must again repeat that the views a fantastic and many people walk up the hill to this hotel just for the views. We will surely return in summer.

Recommended hotel outside the city
Spectacular scenery really romantic hilltop overlooking the city of Kranj Even during hot weather we have given up the air conditioner (top of the mountain was cool) Large room with a comfortable terrace Toilet and shower large and comfortable Breakfast was not a large selection but satisfying Excellent WIFI signal input even in rooms Staff speak English and willing to help

Great hotel amazing location
What can I say this hotel is located at the peak of a mountain on a clear day you have you have 360°views of the surrounding area. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had an evening meal in the restaurant and we were the only ones there and the meal was very generous and delicious. The room was great with its own balcony very clean and comfortable. The hotel is a short drive from Lake Bled and if your ever in this area I would recommend staying here. Only one thing you would probably need to have a car.

The hotel is in a beautiful location high up above Kranj and convenient to Bled if you have a car. The rooms have spacious balconies. The staff were helpful and friendly. The bed was comfortable. The only negative was the air conditioning wasn't working and it was very warm when we stayed in August.

Worth a trip just for the view from the balcony! Staff extremely friendly even let us check in at 12pm! Great restraunt staff too! perfect as was in between the capital and Lake Bled!

Fantastic view of the city from above at the hotel. We arrived quite late, but the staff were also happy to help us out and sort out dinner which was great. But you wouldn't be able to get into the city itself without a car. However, the view from the top means you probably wouldn't want to....

I did a search for hitels in ljubjana and this hotel popped..turned out to be 40 kilometers from downtown on top of a steep hill. The room is like a shoe box and i barely fit in the bed. Not a good experience at all,

We had a little issue to get to the hotel and ended up taking a taxi. The hotel is outside of Split, but the owners were so nice to drop us to Split city center and even next day take us to bus terminal with her own car. Branica was the name of lady who did all the drop offs for us with her own personal car, she was simply the nicest lady we ever met and so wonderful helping us with everything. The rooms are very big with nice views and more importantly very clean. We highly recommend this hotel.

Most amazing views, location excellent for visiting major attractions in Slovenia. Staff outstanding could not ask for anything more! Coffee on arrival, just notify staff 2 hours ahead of time and they will cook dinner for you even on nights the restaurant is closed & the views are to die for This is a most delightful place to stay.....ten out of ten!!!!

This hotel is on top of a hill with panoramic views over the surrounding area.We did not dine there which was probably a wise decision as the breakfast was the worst we have seen anywhere.We were confronted by a nearly empty jar of instant coffee and a kettle together with a small quantity of sliced ham sausage etc,also some horrible sweet juice, tasteless bread and stale fruit.

Beautiful location
The hotel was further than expected from the town of Kranj. Though people walked up and down the steep winding road, 2 kms, it wasn't a stroll in the park and not really a way to reach the old town, which was still quite a long way from the bottom of the hill. The first evening we were driven into our room from the balcony by a blaring radio station playing throughout the terrace area and Saturday night we couldn't escape the noise of a wedding party, which went on until 4 am Sunday. The walls of our room seemed to vibrate to the music from the band. The hotel also caters for large groups of day trippers so public areas and restaurant can be quite crowded. We spent four nights there but would have left after 2 if there was going to be another wedding. Beware of Saturday nights!

Relaxing and welcoming stay
This was such an inviting and relaxing hotel to stay at during our visit to Slovenia. The gentlemen that serviced the reception desk and breakfast area were very kind and helpful. The hotel has beautiful views and plenty of areas to sit back and take it all in. There was also a great play area for our children, they very much appreciated that! The room was very nice and spacious, there was also a very large balcony with a table and chairs that we were able to enjoy a nice evening meal at. Overall it was a lovely stay and we truly enjoyed it!

Beautiful view from this hotel.
Reasonably priced situated on top of a hill in Kranj. Close to Ljubljana. Good for walks around the hotel too. Stunning views form the carpark and breakfast room. Very friendly staff. Breakfast a bit lacking though.

Nagyon kedves csapat, nyugalmas környezet, választékos reggeli. ÁR értékarányban szerintem a legjobb választás. Megközelíthetőség kiválló az autópálya közel. Helyben és közelben remek éttermek. De bevásárlóközpont is szinte gyalog elérhető. Kilátás pazar. A nagy hőség ellenére kibírható klíma. Szerencsésebb lenne ha klimatizált szobák lennének.

Hotel med højt serviceniveau og en flot udsigt.
Et hotel med den meste fantastiske placering på toppen af bjerget. Servicen er mere end i top, venlig, hjælpsom og hele tiden opfølgende. Veltalende engelsk. Værelserne er pæne og rene. Hvis man kunne savne noget, så er det en elevator.

Complice des taxis malhonnêtes et coupe-gorges
L'hôtel a des accords avec des taxis malhonnêtes qui exigent 60 EUR pour faire les 15km de route jusqu'à l'aéroport, ne donnent pas de factures et ne prennent que l'argent cash. Tout est fait pour qu'on ne s'aperçoive du problème qu'à l'arrivée. De plus L'hôtel ment en prétendant assurer une navette pour l'aeroport. C'est un coupe-gorge qui profite de sa situation très isolée.

DearWe are sorry that you had a bad experience with a taxi, but the hotel has no connection with the taxi service provided by other companies. Our hotel has no agreement with taxi drivers. You can freely choose your taxi.Hotel shuttle is not always possible due to the busyness of employees, as we do not have independent employees for this service.You should have received the invoice for taxi service, but again our hotel has nothing to do with it since it is an independent company. If you do not receive an invoice, you are not obliged to pay for the service.Therefore, your accusatory claims are misplaced.Kind regards

Accueil déplorable
Accueil déplorable par un jeune homme qu on semblait déranger . On avait réservé cet hôtel car il avait un restaurant bar mais il était fermé ce jour là ! Aucune précision sur le site …réponse à l’accueil : «  c’est comme ça «  . On a demandé s’il était possible d’acheter qq chose à boire au bar .. réponse «  non , vous n’avez qu à descendre en ville «  . Très belle vue de l’hôtel Prix injustifié compte tenu de la vétusté de l’hôtel et de l’accueil !!!
