Brilliant location.

Posted 23-May-2015
Pros: Location, location, location.
Cons: Getting slightly shabby (carpets grubby). Housekeeping staff need to sharpen up if it is to deserve a 5 star rating.
Location: Short pleasant walk through park to main square and restaurants.
Hotel in best location, short walk through nice park to main square, restaurants/bars etc. Everywhere within walking distance. Really helpful/efficient reception and bar staff. Rooms pleasant and functional. Business rooms (pay for upgrade) have Nespresso coffee machines and better views. Unexciting breakfast buffet, better and more economical to breakfast in local restaurants.

Superb Hotel in Excellent Location

Posted 26-Apr-2015
Pros: Great location, good facilities and excellent staff.
Cons: Wider choice of beers at the hotel bar would be good but there's plenty of superb bars close by in the town.
Location: A guided tour by bike or walking is a great introduction to the city.
The hotel is situated close to the main square, Wawel Castle and other main sights in Krakow. There are some great restaurants nearby. The hotel has a corporate appearance but is very comfortable. We had a good sized room with coffee and tea making facilities. There was a good selection at the breakfast buffet and efficient staff. The reception staff were excellent - friendly and helpful. Krakow is a fascinating place from the stunning main square to Kazimierz - the traditional Jewish Quarter. It contains both beauty and tragedy and is a vivid, lively, thought-provoking city to visit.

Quality Hotel in Fab Location

Posted 20-Apr-2015
Location: Great location, very close to square, old town, and castle
Our stay at the Radisson Blu far exceeded our expectations. I was last in Krakow 17 years ago so was not sure what to expect as so much has changed, however we were not disappointed with this choice of hotel. I knew we wanted to be close to the square as I had previously stayed at the Grand and this was a good location, but we were looking for something a little more modern. The location is across from a small park area and is less than 3 min walk to the square. The castle is also a 5-6 min walk away. When we checked in we were given a fabulous welcome and brilliant introduction to the hotel and the city to orientate us. We were also given a corner room on the 5th floor which was so much bigger than what we were expecting, it even had a small lounge area. The room was very clean, well decorated and the bed extremely comfortable (we're quite fussy so that is an achievement!). Breakfasts were tasty and plentiful. We never used the hotel bar as there were so many other ones close by that had more Krakow character. All in, a great hotel and would definetly stay here if we return to Krakow again .. which I hope we do as it is an amazing place!

Krakow glee

I've never been to Poland before and had preconceived images of a dour grey city 😒 couldn't have been more wrong!! Really busy bustling place, people are very friendly and importantly for me the vast majority speak perfect English. Great place, great hotel, and very interesting city history.
