Nice hotel but didn't seem like a 5star

Posted 19-Mar-2015
We chose this hotel primarily because of its location. It's just a 5 minute walk from the main square and has trams which stop next to the hotel although in the end we didn't need to use them. The check in experience was fine and so what any interaction we had with the concierge. Everyone spoke perfect English which meant we did not have any problems. Our room was nice, it had everything we really needed. We did not have breakfast at the hotel. I should say that there are lots of places locally which you can eat at as well as the hotel. We had pudding in the bar, drinks and room service and everything was good. I had the chocolate fondant with mint icecream which was gorgeous! Everything about our visit was good but I have to say it did not feel like a 5 star hotel, I am not sure of why but it didn't give me the feeling/atmosphere of being in a 5 star hotel but it was a great place to stay in a great location.

Nice hotel very central

Posted 13-Mar-2015
Pros: The hotel as mentioned earlier was located in the very centre of the Old Town, it was clean, staff were very helpful and courteous
Cons: The shower water pressure could be improved
Location: Walk around the Old Town, visit Wawel Castle, walk around Rynek Glowny, drop in at the Hard Rock Krakow and many local shops
The hotel is very central and we could walk around the Old Town and visit Wawel Royal Castle. People were very friendly and the hotel staff were very helpful and courteous

Great hotel and great location

We've spent a wonderful five days at the Radisson Blu in Kraków . The hotel is in an amazing location only minutes from the main Square and Castle. We upgraded to a junior suite with breakfast and very pleased we did as the room was fantastic with little extras including dressing gowns , slippers , Nespresso coffee machine and great view of the park. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice including fresh fruit and juices . The staff including Marcin on the front desk were fantastic and very accommodating , it was my birthday during the stay and I was left a lovely cake and sparking water to celebrate . I loved the city and will definitely return, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of a visit .

Brilliant Hotel, Excellent location!

This hotel is a must when visiting Krakow. The location is fantastic and the service unbeatable. Great location with just a short walk through the Planty to the Main Square. Room cleaned every day which was nice to come back to after a 10 hour tour of Auschwitz-Birkenau and the salt mines. The bed was very comfy, clean and the standard room was more than elegant enough for our weekend stay. Hotel staff are very friendly and kindly kept hold of my bank card after I left it in the safe after check out (oops!) . If ever I am to return to Krakow I will be staying at The Radisson no doubt.

Hotel with a very high standard and good position

Posted 03-Mar-2015
Pros: Clean room, comfortable and fitness club
Location: very good position right on the market, and right next to the Wawel Castle
Hotel with a very high standard, clean and in very good position right on the market, and right next to the Wawel Castle. There was no problem with parking. On the street where the hotel stands you could find a place in the rays of 200 meters. Very good club Fittnes. Wygdondy comfortable room. I recommend heartily. I have spend there 2 nights and I was still in the city center. At breakfast on the local market we went for a walk for 10 minutes.

Great hotel near Old Town

Posted 11-Feb-2015
Location: Handily placed for the Old town and Central market square and also the Wawel castle
We arrived very late on Saturday night and within 10 minutes both rooms were sorted and we were checked in. On the Sunday we were late for breakfast and thought that we wouldn`t get anything but after the waitress had a few words with reception we were given a great breakfast and a large sundae glass full of fruit topped with cream to finish.
