“globus hotel in krakow”

This hotel is a GEM. I was having trouble finding a reasonable place that would accomodate three of us travelling together. I came across GLOBUS on expedia an saw a picture of a room with three beds - and indeed they do have rooms with three separate beds in them. The ladies that work at this hotel have got to be the nicest, sweetest, most accomodating people that I have met in a very long time. Nothing is too much trouble for them - whether it is helping to arrange excursions, getting laundry done (they will do a full bag of laundry for very little money), printing boarding passes,etc. I travel a lot with my job and have not come accros such nice people in a long time. Here is an example of the kind of service we recevied at this hotel...we had a cab coming to pick us up at 4am from the hotel, when we came downstairs the young lady behind the desk had made little breakfast bags up for each of us to take to the airport. I was so impressed - much more expensive hotels wouldn't take the time to do that. The only downside is that this hotel does face out to busy road - get a room that faces the back...and they do not have air con...if it had been hot this could be uncomfortable. we were lucky, it was quite cool. there is also no elevator so if stairs are an issue - this might not be the place for you. But if no aircon doesn't bother you - this is a great place.

Area recommendations
Krakow is not big so it is not hard to be close to the main attractions.
Must see
we signed up for a walking tour of the Jewish District (and ghetto) - it was fantastic. The guide (Konrad) was amazing - it is so nice to run into a tour guide who is a true professional. Konrad knew so much about the history of Krakow that it was amazing - this was the best tour that we did. (See Krakow Tours).
