I happen to be staying at the hotel when they were performing/installung a ne elevator and the noise was beyond tolerable, from early morning to late evening, dust etc. The breakfast was not anything interesting and the stuf woeking at the breakfast wasn't friendly. The receptopn dest excillente and friendly, helpfull.

The room was great and in a convenient location. Wonderful breakfast buffet! The staff helped us out with our super early departure by arranging a taxi and providing a meal to go. We'd stay there again.

Hotel is clean Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious Beds are comfortable Buffet breakfast is ok, cereals are poor standard but the breads meats and cheeses are top quality, the scrambled eggs should be avoided. There's no Bar, plenty available in the area but all around 10 to 15 min walk away. Buses can't park outside so if you book a trip you may have to meet up with it elsewhere.

Lovely, comfortable stay.
The hotel was great! This was my fifth stay in this hotel. We were given a smaller room this time. The only negative feedback I could give was that there was no fridge in the room, which we have had before. I know, however, that the hotel was booked out for New Year, so I understand why we were given that room.

There was a refrigerator in my room which pleased me greatly. Overall my stay at the hotel was money well spent. However, bacon for breakfast would have been most welcome.

Booking issues
8 of us were supposed to stay here but on check in they only had 3 rooms even though all 4 rooms had been reserved and confirmed. This resulted in 2 of the party having to stay elsewhere- very inconvenient as we were only staying 2 nights. The hotel itself is decent and the staff apologetic but nonetheless, it did spoil the weekend a bit

Good for active tourists
Very good hotel, breakfast similar each morning but very tasty. Rooms very warm during the winter months, free tea/coffee in room. Nice to come back to when out sightseeing in the cold. Would use again.

Very good stay overall , only thing that let it down was check in , despite emailing to say we would be arriving at 10pm and being told reception is open 24/7 we were kept waiting around for 10-15 minibecause nobody was on reception when we arrived . Overall a very good 2nd stay at this hotel .

Overwhelming sewer smell
The sewer smell coming from the bathroom drains/toilet made the entire room smell so bad. The mattress needed to be replaced 10 years ago, it's totally like a hammock. Staff: very nice. Breakfast was included and VERY delicious.

The hotel is close to the market town the staff were polite and friendly however the coffee and tea facility in room was put out on the first day but was not replenished after the first day hence during our 4 nights we had to purchase our own tea/coffee overall a satisfactory hotel . the breakfast thou was excellent with plenty of choices and it was a help yourself service

The hotel is in an excellent location around 5 to 10 minutes stroll to the main market square. It provides functional clean accommodation and breakfast is good quality continental with some hot food options. Good coffee and ample seating. We had a double room which felt cluttered by the addition of what I imagine to be a z-bed type chair thing possibly for when the room was to accommodate a third guest. It took up space which for us was unnecessary but it it was for a 3rd guest it would be a very tight squeeze!! The bathroom was small but adequate and clean towel( one each) was provided daily on our 3 night stay. The only thing for me which would put me off is there wasn't a bar which for those evenings when you might not wish to venture far or indeed have a nightcap before bed would be an advantage . otherwise functional economical accommodation in a good location
