“Ideal base for a Krakow visit”
We had a three night stay with friends recently whilst doing the usual tourist sightseeing. The hotel is located on the edge of the Jewish district about a comfy 15 minute stroll to the main square. The rooms are clean and well appointed, the staff friendly and helpful, and the continental breakfast adequate with a reasonable choice of food. Nearby is a small square with a choice of restaurants, and plenty of shops/supermarkets are in the locale. We enjoyed our stay here, and have no problem recommending it to other travellers.
“Excellent hotel”
Hotel approx 15 mins walk from main square, staff very helpful, breakfast very good.. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel
“Would definitely use this hotel again if we return to Krakow.”
Very friendly staff and extremely helpful. Spotless, comfortable, spacious room. High class buffet breakfast. Drinks very reasonably priced from the hotel bar.
“Would definitely stay again”
Brilliant hotel, very clean with lovely staff. It is less than 10 minutes walk away from main square in Krakow so is the perfect base for a city break.
“A friendly base.”
We got a warm welcome and help to the room with our bags. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts are good. My only word of warning is ensure you get a room at the back. Its very noisy. Trams run in both directions outside, as well as car traffic. The triple rooms are all at the front and even on the top floor we had to buy ear plugs! There is no English TV channel in the rooms, and the towels are thin, but those are two very small points. If you got a room at the back I think this would be a great choice.
“Great hotel!”
Great hotel, excellent location only 10 mins walk to the centre and right around the corner from the Jewish area and all its funky bars and less touristy restaurants. Wonderful helpful staff, nice rooms, albeit on the small side and with no bath if you want a quiet room off the main street, but all in all a great hotel, totally recommend it!
“Lovely hotel & people”
Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Krakow, and this was enhanced by the friendliness & helpfulness of the staff. They sorted out trips, taxis, directions etc. Their English was excellent (far better than my Polish!) and they certainly made me feel welcome. The hotel was clean, bright and the rooms were comfy. Could do with tea making facilities but that's not overly important. There is no bar, but there is a lounge & a garden & we were served beer int he garden. However, a bar might be nice if the weather is bad. Well situated on the edge of the Kazimierz district; about 15 mins walk to Old Town. Extremely good value for money. And the breakfast was excellent - really wide range of choice for all tastes.
“good hotel”
Very good hotel for the price. Rooms spotlessly clean. Well placed for interesting and varied restaurants in the Jewish quarter. Our only problem was that our room which faced onto the street was a little noisy from passing traffic. Otherwise a good choice and we would recommend
“Super staff - great breakfast.”
I would definitely stay here again. The staff were really top-notch - so helpful. The room was great with excellent facilities, well above an hotel of this category. The breakfast was also spot-on.The only down side to this hotel is that is is on a busy road with a lot of traffic and other noise, although I was on the third floor. It is about 15 mintes walk to the centre of the city but there are frequent trams. It is right next to the extremely interesting Kazimierz area (the old Jewish town) with excellent restaurants and bars. There is a self service restaurant within 50 metres where you can get genuine Polish food for about £3 and a Michelin standard place only a little further.
“Quiet and Pleasant Hotel in Krakow”
When drove up to hotel thought it was not a great neighborhood, but it is in a nice location that is about a 10 minute walk from Old Town and right next to the Jewish Quarter which has some good restaurants and a hopping night time bar/club scene it seems. The street it is on could use some upgrading, but I think as Krakow develops more it will be renovated. Hotel was quiet and room was nice size. Decent breakfast included and staff was mostly friendly. Manager gave great restaurant recommendations. They were having issues with Wi-Fi and I didnt have it in my room, but a traveling companion did have it in his. Hotel arranged excurions to Auschwitz and Salt Mines for us. Was a lot to do in one day. Recommend separating it to 2 days. Wish I had one more day in Krakow. Only had 2.
