“Great hotel”

Great hotel and would reccmmend it as a good base for all places to visit in Krakow.

“Will definitely go back”

The hotel is about 10 minutes away from the main square, it's very hard to get lost in Krakow as all roads seem to lead to the heart of the town. The staff in the hotel are very helpful and friendly, breakfast is available fron 07:00 - 10:00 and you can eat as much or a slittle as you like. There is a safi inside the wardrobe which you can set to your own pin number and this is free to use. The only down side to the hotel is the medical centre opposite the hotel reception which houses the ambulance service, so if you're easily disturbed take ear plugs with you.

“Value for money”

This hotel is comfortable and offers a standard 3 star standard. The location is easy walking distance to the market square and most tours offer hotel pick up. Wi-Fi is not good and the air conditioning in our room didn't work.

Area recommendations
Definitely stay close to the market square as this is where all the action begins and ends and you can navigate your way around from there

“Good value”

The rooms are pretty basic, and only the minimal tidying up was done. This was ok, considering the reasonable price, convenient location, and that we only spent sleeping time in the room. breakfast buffet had ample selection. The front desk staff was very helpful, assisting us with parking, arranging very early morning transportation to the airport and even making sure we had a to go breakfast at 4 am.

“Decent Property/Great Value and Service”

Our family of 4 stayed in a 2 + 2 Studio in the Annex. The unit consisted of 2 spacious rooms well designed for our needs. The unit was fairly basic and a bit hostel-like, but it was clean and very functional. A nice breakfast was included in the stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Wireless internet was available only in the lobby area of the hotel.

Area recommendations
The hotel is located in a residential area, about a 10 minute walk from beautiful Old Town. There are many interesting thing to see and do there, and the huge Central Square is an incredible sight. Various places to eat abound, but I would suggest at least one visit to Pod Wawelom, an Austrian beer hall and restaurant near Wawel Hill - we had a great time there!

“Very cosy hotel with great service and convenient location!”

I loved staying at Batory. It was my first time travelling to Europe from Canada and I was pleasantly surprised by the great service and delicious breakfast buffet, which kept me and my family full until 4-5 p.m. I liked the room, the furniture, which was made of wood, the washroom with bidet and the shower cabin. It is worth mentioning that the hotel provides complimentary mineral water for only one night of your stay. We stayed for six nights and we would have been happier to have the water for the period of our stay, but we were grateful anyway. We bought water at the convenience store very close to the hotel. The hotel is 10 minutes walk from the railway station, which made it convenient for us to go to the airport from there, rather than taking a taxi, which cost a lot more. We needed to rent a wheel chair and the lady at the reception took her time to find the appropriate place for us to rent the chair from, which was very nice of her. Though the hotel seems tiny, it is very cosy and it was vey quiet in the hallways, though every room was booked. Since we were staying in two rooms, we liked our room on the 2-nd floor of the main building better than the room on the third floor, in terms of carpets and the fan in the washroom, which was absent on the third floor. The rooms were kept in a very clean condition. I wish there had been a coffee maker in the room like in Canadian hotels, but there wasn't; nevertheless, we loved our stay very much.

Area recommendations
We loved walking to the main square of the city every day and night, as well as visiting Wawel, Welizchka, and the Water Park, which I liked better than the one at Niagara Falls. The only disadvantage was the absence of towels: you have to bring your own. It was interesting that the hair dryers were near the exit from the park and not near the showers area, but the park was very clean, with lots of swimming pools and slides. There were no tube slides though. I would recommend going to the classical music concerts at St. Paul and Peter's church. We really liked visiting Krakow and staying at Batory. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and I would also stay there again if I visited Krakow in the future.
Dining
Our family of five chose to have dinner at the hotel's restaurant every day, because the price was all right, comparing to the other restaurants and we also had a great discount as guests.

“Would definitely stay here again!”

While the neighborhood seems kind of sketchy at first, it really is in a great location. Close to the train/bus station, close to the Rynek (town center), and it's just a cute, quaint little hotel. My husband and I loved their restaurant downstairs and their breakfast in the morning was a FEAST!! IT was a wonderful place and I would highly recommend this place.

“Quiet family hotel in Krakow”

Quiet, clean and convenient to the Krakow Main Square. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Price was very reasonable. No frills but comfortable. What more could you ask?

“Wonderful place, need to return to see more”

This Hotel was fully up to expectation having read other reviews. As a 3* hotel it was certainly a leader. Clean well maintained and excellent Staff who spoke english so well. We dined in the restaurant on first night as we were tired having slept 3 hours due to an early flight and food was good Polish style fare but due to season we only had another family dining in that night and the price was so very good. The breakfast buffet was excellent as there was so much choice to cater for all the nationalities staying there. The hotel is an easy 15 minute walk to the old town square or rail station or castle. As we stayed only 3 nights we could not see everything you would need a week. A summer visit would be fantastic but first week of november was so mild at 18c. I rate this hotel highly and we would like to return as we had such a good long weekend. I recomend the Auchwitz tour (coach pick up outside hotel. ) We got local bus 304 to go to salt mine and it stops right outside the mine.

Area recommendations
Old town and Jewish quarter. Relaxed and clean and great ambience with very reasonable restaurants and choice.
Shopping
The large 'Galleria' by the rail station has all the international top shops you could want for must have labels. and there is another Galleria not far from river and jewish quarter.
Dining
Surprising choice of restaurants from Polish, and asian to italian to Burgerking ,McD and Hard rock cafe.

“Excellent.”

Having updated the rooms since our last visit, we were very impressed with the standard of the rooms. Only disappointment is no kettle and coffee in the room. Breakfasts were excellent again with a brilliant range of options from cooked and cold meats and cereals. Taxi from hotel to the airport booked through the hotel was well priced, I only wish we had phoned the hotel to get a pick up from the airport as we were ripped off getting to Krakow. The hotel is well placed, just outside the city walls so it is very quiet but an absolute doddle to walk anywhere within 15 mins from the castle to the jewish quarter. Very near to the railway station if you need it but all trips and tours can be booked through the hotel and be picked up from the hotel. Only problem is that you have to pay cash for the trips - no credit or debit cards but there is a cashpoint next to the front door so no problem. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough
