Everything was amazing. The location is perfect within its own private beach (so keep in mind you'll need to ride a boat to get to this hotel). They offer free speed boat rides at specific times, but be sure to book ahead of time with the concierge as space fills up quickly. Once there's no more space you have to book a long tail boat and pay for this service per person.
You can borrow paddle boards or kayaks and take them around free of charge. This was pretty nice! They also offer complimentary daily activities for guests such as beach yoga, boot camp, beach volleyball, etc... The ocean-facing rooms have amazing views, so recommend staying at one of those.
For breakfast, we recommend booking room inclusive of breakfast as purchasing it onsite is 700THB per person. They do not offer a-la-carte breakfast so you're pretty much stuck with this expense even if you just want some fruit and oatmeal. They do offer an in-room dining option for breakfast, but the price is pretty close to the buffet, so we preferred to go for their buffet option.
Their restaurants are quite pricy and not so spectacular so perhaps try and eat some place within downtown Ao Nang.
Definitely use the monkey trail to go to downtown Ao Nang, it's quite amusing.

When you arrive, the lobby and the view are breathtaking. And the rest of the hotel lives up to this first impression. Our room was lovely - spotlessly clean and well-appointed. The staff were universally pleasant and helpful throughout the hotel. The facilities (pools, bars, restaurants, beachfront) are great. All-in-all it is a lovely hotel. My only gripe (and this is the same with all top-notch hotels) is that you have to pay (an extortionate sum) for wifi. Stay at a cheap hotel (even a backpacker hostel!) and they throw wifi in for free. Expensive hotels rip you off with that. That said, at least they give you free wifi in the lobby area.

We (a family of 3) stayed 4 nights at this hotel and enjoyed it very much. Even it is a bit outside from everything it is a perfect place to relax. As we stayed during the world cup semi finals the hotel staff arranged for us a possibility to watch Brazil vs. Germany at the Hemingway room at 3:00 am in the morning, as TV reception of the game in the room was not possible.
Arrival Krabi, stay in Krabi town Maritime Park hotel was surprisingly good by considering the rating is not so highly recommended. We was given a high floor room, oversee the river and pool, fantastic view. Surrounding was nice and cooling. Breakfast was decent. Have to comment that service was not at par for a four star hotel.

Best beach I've ever seen
Best resort I've ever stayed at
Big honeymoon area
Only negative could be is that it's very secluded so if you're looking for action may not be the place for you. If you're looking for relaxation, it's perfect

Fantastic experience. The staff went the extra mile on two occasions. First was to lend us free slippers when I called up housekeeping that my husband's scandals were wet. Instead of bringing one pair, they brought two pairs. The staff was observant as the sizes of both slippers were different where they fit our feet size. 2nd occasion was when one of the tiny screw of my husband's spectacles was spoiled and the receptionist was able to "temporary" fixed it.
