“Great hotel, I would go again”
Sheraton Krabi is wonderful resort, very big with many restaurants. Even though the hotel was full, we still felt like we are the only guests. Location is about 45 min from airport and 20 min taxi to ao nang where the party and the restos are. I really loved the hotel and will go again. Beautiful. Great service.
“Good Hotel with professional staff”
Good hotel with professional service..All the staff wai whenever they see guests and this is great. All staff willing to help at anytime they see you..even the security offered to carry our luggage twice .. My comments are only for the hotel to improve and by no mean to criticize as I had a lovely stay.. Beds are hard could not what you expect from a Sheraton. Evian Water is overprices.. 250 THB per medium sized bottle is not reasonable..(in mini bar or restaurants) Pastries at breakfast should be a bit better..no chocolate croissant no proper danish..Very old DVD selection at the business center..
“Outstanding resort”
I travel ~125K miles a year and stay at hotels 5 months of the year. This place is top notch and far exceeded my expectations for a Sheraton. If you're looking for a relaxing tropical vacation in Thailand without the crowds in Phucket then go to Krabi and stay at this resort.
“Rainforest and beach in one place!”
Our stay here was very pleasant. We stayed at one of the club rooms which was very nice. However, the room was very far from the lobby and other amenities. The hotel's landscape is so beautiful, yet natural. We didn't use the beach and spend most of the time at the pool because of the weather conditions, but I must say it didn't feel like we missed much. We tried the food at both restaurants and the Italian food was just amazing! Overall, the only downside of this stay was the location of the room and that is was just too far. Highly recommended!
“To big & impersonal & with expensive accommodation & meals”
The Sheraton Krabi whilst maintaining the Sheraton standard is now starting to date & also become to big in that access to facilities requires quite a walk. The breakfast area became over crowded with food picked over without being refreshed. Meals were expensive which prompted seeking outside restaurants however except for the Bambo (at nearby Plaza) others virtually needed to acquire ingredients after you placed your order. Imagine the waiter getting on a scooter to purchase a fish, from wherever? The Sheraton's size creates a degree of being impersonal, hence I prefer the 42 room/cottage Nakamanda which is 20% cheaper and all staff knowing you by name although meals are again an issue
“Great Beach, shame about the service”
The Sheraton is a lovely Hotel and with only one exception the staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The position is well set back from the beach and the trees on the shoreline mean you don't get much if you pay for a sea View room. The Beach itself was great. Soft sand for as far as you could see and generally only about a dozen or so people on the beach. The beach sloped gently into the sea so it would be safe for kids. Ample sun beds so need need to be up at the crack of dawn with your towels What was strange however was that there was virtually no bar service around the sun beds on the lawns and on the beach. In our experience of other Hotels the bar staff cruised the sun beds to pick up drinks and food orders from the guests but this was a very few and far occasion here. Outside of the Hotel there were a few restaurants but in the main these closed or were empty and so taking heed of the old adage if it's empty it can't be good we found a Restaurant called The Terrace Cafe serviing Thai food and some western dishes. Most days people were turned away becasue it was full from 7.30 to 8.30pm
“Great Hotel in Krabi”
Loved the setting and services.
“Far from Ao Nang but liked the beach better at the Sheraton. Shuttle service to town was not compli”
Even though the location was a 10 -15 min. commute to town we would still come back. The pool area was beautiful as well as the beach. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate for much beaching but it was very clean not rocky, good for swimming. The concierge was very helpful . Enjoyed having the shuttle service(golf carts) to travel within the complex. It's very large and spread out but very lush, tropical setting.. We had garden view rooms with beautiful views of ponds with lily pads. Don't think you need to spend the extra money for an ocean view. The whole complex is just beautiful. Very well maintained.
“Fantastic Wedding!”
We had our wedding at the Sheraton Krabi in April 2010 and stayed there with a small number of guests. The preparation and organisation performed by the events team was perfect and from the moment we arrived to the moment we left everything was just fantastic. All our questions and requests for the wedding were responded to in an extremely professional manner by the events team. The set up for the wedding and the meals before and afterwards were beautiful and everything on the day was far better than we had dared to imagine. The hotel, grounds, beach, pools etc are in a wonderful setting, the food in the restaurants was very good. We really cannot find a fault with this hotel and we would recommend it to anyone for a holiday. If you are looking to get married in Thailand, we would absolutely recommend this hotel.
“Loved it!”
Went with my cousin and her four year old little girl... Neither of them had been to the far east before & were relatively apprehensive. The hotel was beautiful - a little bit tired in places (eg couple of mosaic tiles missing from the seats in the pool at the bar) but mostly immaculate. Right on the beach - which is perfect - with little golf buggies to drive you around if you're feeling particularly lazy. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly - they all knew the name of my niece by the end of our four day stay & she adored them. Would go again at the drop of a hat and recommend to anyone
