“Too near to a Water Waste Treatment Facitily”

Although the hotel manager was very polite and helpful, the hotel is too near to a Water Waste Treatment Facility, and the smell gets to the room. The neighborhood is not nice. The room was ok but the Air Conditionin didn't cool... they should change the cooling gas or something.

Area recommendations
I would recommend Long Beach. The beach here is really beatiful and quiet. The beaches at Tonsai are crowded, with low tide you never get to real deep water, and they're muddy. The beach at the pier is nicer but it's boat motor noisy. Althought the landscape is always amazing everywhere.

“Great View, Quiet Location, but no extras”

The hotel was about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach, which turned out to be fantastic! As soon as the sun goes down, the entire beach turns into one great big party until sun up! Even as far as we were, we could faintly hear the music. Had we stayed any closer to the beach, i'm not sure we would have been able to get any sleep at all. The rooms were clean, however they do not provide any room service or maid services. The price is fantastic compared to other beach side hotels on the island. There was also an amazing view from our second floor balcony. Would definitly stay at this hotel again!

Traveller's tip
Fly to Phuket (you can also take an over night train from Bangkok, however, flights are so cheap that its worth the extra for a 1.5 hour flight rather than a 14 hour train) and take a boat to the island (extremely cheap boat fare)

“Pour dépanner seulement”

Bel ensemble hotelier mais qui n'est pas maintenu. Chambres supérieure conforme à la description: assez grande, bien meublée, bonne literie, propre, balcon, frigo et clim. Personnel souriant. Environnement peu favorable (boue, terrain vague, un peu éloigné par rapport aux autres), pas de ménage pendant le séjour. En bref: OK pour dépanner mais rapport prestation/prix pas du tout en sa faveur

Area recommendations
Sortie snorkeling à la journée à ne pas rater. Prendre le temps de monter au VIEWPOINT (mais c'est dur: 30 mn de marche)

“tolles preiswertes hotel auf einer wunderschönen insel”

wir haben den aufenthalt im puttachot sehr genossen. das personal war stets freundlich. wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und sogar um einen tag verlängert. da das hotel ein wenig abseits vom trubel liegt, konnten wir sehr gut schlafen.

Area recommendations
in der nähe liegt ein kleines restaurant namens breakfast. es gehört zum hotel chunat house. die inhaberin ist sehr zuvorkommend und das frühstück ist außerordentlich lecker. auch sehenswert ist der ausblick vom view point.
Getting there
Wir sind mit der Fähre nach Ko Phi Phi gefahren und von dort aus auch mit der Fähre weiter nach Phuket.
Must see
Der Aufstieg (ca. 1 Std.) zum View Point lohnt sich wirklich!
