Hostel was full, no refund
We booked online and when we arrived at the hostel it was full. They told us to call Expedia and that they'd cancel it on their side, but they never did. We had to find another accommodation for that night and pay twice.

Okay for one night
Staff are quite rude and unfortunately don't speak much English which makes it difficult to ask them questions. The room had to be enter through a dingy alley and when entered was very small and dirty.

WORST PLACE EVER
AWFUL....worst hostel EVER! hole in the wall & door, worms in the bathroom, air con didn't work, curtains didn't fit window, and bed probably had bed bugs. Hostel was also down an alley way, where we have to clime over rubbish to get to it.

Other Local Options Better
Welcome was basic and not particularly friendly. Room has space and fans plus ac after 5pm. Bed clean. On arriving toilet light was not working, never any working hot shower (only cold). Back area is good to sit out in but water/plants etc attract lots of bugs could do with a tidy up. Check out was just rude and unable to help print boarding pass even when I offered to pay. Yes budget accommodation but all other hostels I saw in the area and viewed offered superior conditions/service for the same price. You can just turn up and get a room on the spot. Overall not recommended. Also WiFi didn't work at all, so useless.

Close the beach and safe
I stayed this hostel 1 night. October hostel is a small Thai restaurant and upper floor is a hostel rooms. I waited the staff to check-in almost 10 minutes. The bed and bathroom are cleanses. Also, it close the beach and not far from the bar. The noisy sound from the bar is not too much.

The hostel staff were all really nice, room was clean except for the sand which was unavoidable. The wifi worked well and beds were pretty comfy. It's right in the middle of the night life of phi phi so there was music going on and partying going on til really early into the morning, but the room wasnt too loud.

pretty gross
We arrived early and got to check in to our room early with no problems which was nice...however to get to our room we had to climb extremely steep stairs in an alley that had an awful smell. The room itself wasn't too bad..except for the bathroom sink which was half full of a yellow liquid and wouldn't work. The music from the streets was definitely loud. If your young and partying this room could be ok..but I wouldn't recommend it.

Choose another one
The minute I got to my room, I was looking forward to writing about it. Where to start.. Mattress was all springs, bad sleeps The room was full of ants and bugs It gets loud on the weekend, which at first doesn't seen bad, but even with ear plugs... It's enough to keep you from sleeping easily. Not much help from the front desk, though you can seek it else where. My advice to you, as a backpacker trying to keep a low budget whenever you can. Either try a different place or spend an extra 100B a night and do yourself a favor. It's not worth having a few bad night sleeps and feeling not at ease. Also there was a dead lizard in the dirty alley way to our rooms, which remained there for 4 days and was not even swept to the side.

Our 2nd stay at Phi Phi October, mainly due to its location, a walk down the path to the beach downsides are the noise coming from the banana bar close by till 2am, a few bugs in the room (no big ones really) and the wifi is a bit hit and miss. A lovely terrace to sit on if lounging around the hotel A good price compared to local hotels

Pleasant stay!
Had a lovely stay here, even decided to stay an extra 4 nights. Great location, air con works perfect, nice terrace. No actual room cleaning service, but wasn't really required. Few bugs and lizards in the room, with kittens on the terrace, but didn't cause a problem to us. Would stay here again!

Great place to stay
We were nervous staying here after reading some reviews about the noise but honestly, it wasn't bad at all. The guesthouse is actually down the street from all the loud bars so the noise at night is about as normal as almost anywhere you'll stay on the island. The location is perfect -- right in the middle of the island so you can walk easily to any beach you want. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfy. With just a fan, we were able to stay cool. We popped earplugs in and slept like a baby. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and stayed an extra night!

If you're looking for a place to be in town itself, this will be suitable for you. Everything is just near to your hotel, near to the pier and the beach. Food and tour offers are all around you, the room are clean and alright. It's noisy at night as its in central town itself.

the hotel is cheaper in koh phi phi have a good location but really noisy. the hotel is situation in town the front Street that have movement. if you have light sleep will be difficult to sleep.

Typical young crowd venue.
Nothing the management could fix as it is situated in the main hub of town . Cant get away from the noise! Staff good. Rooms not bad. Great if your young and out till the wee hours ,otherwise go up the hill for less noise!

Good location if you like being right in the center of things, I don't. I like to get away on holiday as I come from a large city anyway. Not the cleanest, but the staff are friendly and helpful enough with varying degrees of competence in English which is to be expected...

good value for your money. not the most fancy place we've stayed at but did the job for 2 nights. really close to the port. about 5 min walk. close to the beach and nightlife. restaurants/street food all around it.

Perfect cheap hostel for backpackers
Stayed here for 2 nights! Perfect location, right in the centre of everything! Hotel staff really helpful and friendly! We booked through expedia and they had no information of our booking, they contacted expedia and sorted it out for us! Room is small and basic but can't complain for the money!! Security boxes in reception, which is locked at night so very secure! I would recommend this hostel!

Good if you don't value sleep!
We got a souble bed room with a fan and upon seeing the room and its lack of cleanliness as well as very small size we upgraded to the delux with ensuite mini bar, TV etc. Slept poorly due to loud music pumping till early yours of the morning and cats jumping on rooftop. The room was on the 3rd floor up a steep case of steps that at the bottom bypasses their rubbish collection site. Very dirty place, I woul pay a little extra next time and stay in a better place. Not as close to the pier as indicated, hard to find location.

Good service, horrible area
The hotel is a 2 star hotel so that's what you'll get. Service was good and Internet was great. But, for most rooms I believe, don't expect to sleep. This goes for most places in the main village of Koh Phi Phi. People scream, cats fight, bottles smash, you can hear ppl peeing in the walkway, and sometimes throwing up

Dåliga våningssängar med en AC som endast slogs på kvällstid. Dagtid var temperaturen runt 32 grader i rummet. Personalen var allt ifrån trevlig och badrummen var på gränsen till vidriga.

Decente per 1/2 notti,struttura nella media di Phi
Eravamo un gruppo di 7 persone di passaggio a Phi Phi per una notte quindi abbiamo optato per una sistemazione economica e vicina al porto senza pretendere le comodità dei soggiorni più lunghi. Buona sistemazione per chi è di bocca buona, non per gente aristocratica.

Месторасположения супер!!! Рядом пляж, где вечеринки! В номере ни разу не убрались за 6 дней! В комнате только кровать и туалет с душем! Только спать! С одной стороны отеля балконы выходят в стену соседнего отеля!

J'y ai passé 3 nuits, pas réussi à dormir une fois correctement, la guesthouse est collée à un bar qui diffuse de la musique à fond jusqu'à 2h du matin,à moins que vous soyez fêtard vous ne trouverez pas le repos ici. Ménage pas fait. Lampe de chevet ne fonctionne pas. aucunes prises prêt du lit, obligé d'aller s'asseoir à côté de la tv pour pouvoir utiliser ses appareils. Très cher pour ce que c'est, je ne recommande pas, sauf pour les fêtards.

Wir (4 Freunde 25-28 Jahre) waren 2 Nächte im October GH und zu 100% enttäuscht! Staff unfreundlich, Zimmer wirklich heruntergekommen und dreckig (Türhänkel kaputt, Bett durchgelegen und dreckig, Badezimmer nicht geputzt, kaltes Wasser und kein Wasserdruck in der Dusche,...) und Nachts unglaublich laut - ohne Oropax kann man schlafen also bis tief in die Nacht vergessen! Grundsätzlich würden wir von einer Reise nach Phi Phi zur High Season abraten! Strände stark verschmutzt, Wasser stinkend und verschmutzt....

L'hotel est situe dans un quartier mouvementer et tres bruyant . Avoir des fenetre qui ne se ferme pas n'est pas l'ideal. Les draps etais sale et la chambre poussiereuse. La toilette n'etais pas laver. Le sejour le plus desagreable en thailande.

Cheap, Well positionned Guesthouse in Tonsai. Pretty dirty, but nor more than Tonsai town as a whole. Good Deal if you intend to spend a one night party stand on Phi Phi island.

Nær stranden, men varmt og bråkete.
Gjestehuset ligger midt i travleste gaten på Phi Phi og ca 2 minutt gange fra stranden. De ansatte virket ikke særlig intresserte i gjestene sine. Som på mange andre steder på Phi Phi må dopapir kastes i søpla, men her tar de seg ikke bryet med å tømme søpla, selv etter flere dager. Vårt rom hadde egen wc og dusj, men uten varmtvann. Dersom det eneste du er ute etter er et billig sted å sove, er dette OK men ikke forvent skjønnhetssøvnen: Uten aircondition er det VARMT å sove, og viften var ikke til spesielt stor hjelp. Vinduene var ikke hele, og myggnettingen var full av store hull. Det er mange utesteder i nærheten, og lydnivået er deretter. Lakenpose anbefales!

住宿条件差
PP岛上的东西价格蛮高。这个旅社适合穷游的亲们，一进房间非常狭小，床单看着不干净，有油污。顶上有个风扇，进门左边是厕所，冲凉没有热水。蚊子很多，就一个插座。晚上非常嘈杂，根本没办法很好的入睡。酒店非常不好找，没有提供在码头的免费接待，建议上岛后找当地旅行社要地图。老板带你去房间时，不会帮你提行李，态度一般。wifi要收费。完全不适合全家及蜜月的亲们，切记！

Hotel bem localizado em Ko Phi Phi Don. Os quartos são bons, suficientes para passar a noite e aproveitar bem o dia nas ilhas no entorno. O grande problema para mim foi a água fria do chuveiro que, definitivamente, não funciona.

Vale quanto custa!
Já havia lido alguns comentários (barulho na rua, má vontade dos funcionários), e cheguei não esperando muita coisa. Mas enfrentei, pelo menos, 3 situações desagradáveis: encontrei uma barata em cima da cama no segundo dia que estava lá, a torneira do chuveiro caiu na minha mão antes do banho e o banheiro começou a inundar. Tentei cancelar minha última estadia (e eles disseram que eu teria que ver isso com o Expedia). Resumindo: procurem outro lugar!
