“Definite Character”
If you like to have and adventure this would be the hotel. My friend and I reserved the single fan rooms with no TV which I don't reccomend if you are uncomfortable with sweating. It was a climb to get to our rooms and could be dangerous if you plan on drinking. The reception desk was very friendly but I thought the pool closed to early at 8 pm. It is a 10 minute walk to the center of town which only seems long the first time. The view from my room was absolutely amazing and made the whole stay worth it. I would go back because I had such a fun time on the island.
“What I expected”
A short walk outside town. The girl at the desk was nice and took care of everything I needed.
“With Character”
Just far enough away from the main centre to avoid sleepless nights. The staff assisstance to and from the port was essential to finding the location and for carrying luggage as it was quite a way. If you don't mind a bit of a walk (5- 10mins) to the centre and the beach the location is fine. The staff were always helpful and pleasant.
“convenient but get the room with Air-conditioner...”
I like the hotel - staff are really friendly and always offered to help me with my baggage since my room with up on the hill. you should pay extra and get the air-conditioned room, the weather is really humid and you won't regret it plus it also comes with a TV. I would recommend the hotel if you are willing to walk and climb a little since the hotel is a bit far from the attraction district.
“Not Impressed”
This place was depressing. Would not recommend. Too far away from centre of town, up steep hill. Smelt like a musty old beach shack, with the friendly mozzies awaiting to greet you on your veranda. Wet, damp thread bare sheets and brown towels that were damp, probably due to the humidity. I would rather sleep on the beach. Staff did not speak good english. T.V reception not good, no fridge. Stayed in air conditioned room which worked. Room overlooked a black plastic covered water dam. I would definately go back to Phi Phi Island again, but stay in a different hotel closer to the main town.
“Acceptable”
There is lots of choice in PP island.
“PP Ingphu Viewpo - Bungalows suggestivi e bella vista,c'è abbastanza da camminare per raggiungerli”
Bungalows su palafitte nel verde delle Phi Phi...davvero molto caratteristici e suggestivi...bellissima la vista dal nostro balcone fra verde e mare...la camera da letto è particolarissima con tanto di rete anti zanzare da aprire sopra al letto....sembrava un po' di essere nelle abitazioni delle foreste africane....la hall è bellissima...il personale è carino e gentile...lo stesso personale si occupa di proporvi servizi di ristorazione,servizi di taxi boat e lavanderia per pochi bath....nella hall troverete una piscina molto carina dove rinfrescarvi nelle ore di sole cocente...i lati negativi potrebbero essere che è distante dal porto (dal quale si gira dappertutto a piedi o in bici al max),dista circa 20 minuti a piedi,c'è un po' da scarpinare...altra cosa semi-negativa (per noi non era un problema) è che essendo bungalows una volta consegnate le chiavi non vengono nemmeno a vedere nei giorni successivi se ti è finita la carta igienica,indi per cui anche il discorso del letto da rifare o da cambiare non esiste per loro,esempio il nostro letto era vestito da un lenzuolo sul materasso e una coperta di lana pesantissima...siamo dovuti andare a chiedere un lenzuolo per il sopra perchè non c'era e la carta igienica l'abbiamo comprata dopo qualke giorno....
