The Zuri Cottages are individual houses 45 Square Metres in area .Each Cottage has a balcony overlooking the lake perfect for a dinner for two. These rooms have luxurious bathrooms with private outdoor garden showers as well as an indoor shower and a bathtub. The rooms are built in grand south Indian colonial style in solid teak and stone with vaulted ceilings .The Cottages have King size beds , high speed wireless internet access ,DVD players , satellite TV, tea coffee makers , mini bar , 24 hour room service , laundry and dry-cleaning service . The rooms accommodate two adults and two children below 12 or 3 adults .
The Pool Villas are a sprawling 72 Square Metres with a private swimming pool . It has all the faicilities of a Cottage.
The Zuri Room and The Zuri Deluxe are 42 Square Metres in size .These rooms are in a double storey house . The Zuri Deluxe Rooms are on the upper floor and offer a better view of the lake and the lagoon .

It was a superb experience at Zuri. It is truly world class. Superb service standards, I am impressed.

Less than average food for a 5 star hotel. Very expensive food and all add ons Spa is quite impressive Not kids friendly - small activity room where there nothing and whatever there like PS3 not working. Finally horrible coffee - Never tasted such a bad one in India Not worth for the money even if they offer at half the price
“Style over substance”
The design of the hotel looked the part with attractive buildings reminiscent of the rice boats dotted around a small lake/lagoon off the huge Lake Vembanad. Gardens were beautiful and well maintained with golf carts to take you around. There is good local entertainment at night. The staff were all very friendly but seemed unable to deal with any queries and in the end we decided that most of the reception staff were trainees with a lack of senior people available to make decisions. We had the wrong room when we arrived, though this was sorted out the second night. Our meal in the restaurant was cold and we sent it back which caused consternation. No towels in our room, cleaning times were haphazard, were woken at 7am once by a cleaner. We thought everything was very expensive - the food, the spa, the trips offered (very limited in scope and many over £80 per head). We wanted to organise a boat trip on the nearby backwaters which noone could help us with which we found surprising. We've been all over India and it's a can-do country. So we booked a tuk tuk and, this being India, the driver sorted a boat for us with a man he knew. We were left thinking that hotel wanted all guests to remain on site and spend their money there. It's a beautiful looking hotel in an idyllic location but the experience of our stay was disappointing. But maybe if you want your India to be controlled and sanitised, then it's for you.

This place is definitely the best property I have stayed in Kerela. It tops Le Meridian in Kochi, the Kumarakom Lake Resort, and the Taj Vivanta. This place was simply magical, romantic, and definitely put you in 100% relax mode.
“Kumarakom's Best Hotel”
My wife and me planned our first marriage anniversary to kerala and we were just waiting to get to Zuri as had heard a lot about it. Staying there we had a great time and it would be one of our most memorable time spent together. The best part of Hotel ZURI is their Services. We were really impressed with their services and would recommend all to atleast visit once to experience it. The hotel location is also amazing. The food was also amazing and the best part was that being Jain, we got good jain food which was specially prepared for us. The chef was so friendly that he said he would make anything in Jain...just name the dish. They also made our day by making our anniversary cake which was just awesome. We would definitely like to visit it again.
“only for solitude and relaxation”
The service was exceptional and the hotel was clean and well kept. The spa massages were very good. Swimming pool was really small and there were no other activities. When you walk out of the property there is nothing around therefore the hotel needs to organize some activities and provide some form of entertainment. Not a place to visit with children if you want solitude and relaxation then only go to kumarakom
