When we first arrived, the hotel reception told us that they had taken the liberty of upgrading us in a better room than what we had originally booked for. The Breakfast is very good and the staff made me a cheese omelet as I had ordered it (bkfast is included). The room was extremely clean and quiet. As this hotel is in a high end neighbourhood, there is a great deal of high end shopping available. The hotel is also located at the Likavitos mountain. We went to the top of the mountain where there is a church, and also enjoyed a panoramic view of Athens. The neighbourhood offers many cafes and restaurants with excellent western food as well as greek home made cuisine. Check the antique shops in this neighbourhood. Many Art Deco and Art Nouveau antiques.
Hotel was decent. Great for a night or two. Great location 5 minute walk to metro where you are on direct line to and from the airport. Easy to get to the ferry as well. The rate was great compared to other hotels close to the acropolis. Was easy to get there by metro with a couple stops. We were a family of 6 so we had a little apartment with all the amenities you needed...kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a living room with a sliding door to close it off. Also had wifi and breakfast included...freshly squeezed orange juice, eggs, cereal, yummy Greek yogurt, bread and good coffee amongst other items. Check in was 2 p.m. but they had a storage locker which was convenient so we could visit while we waited for our room. There is a good restaurant for breakfast (Named Cross I believe). Omlett'es were huge. Pricey but good.

The hotel was very good value for money. We arrived very late due to weather delays and lost bags in transit. The hotel staff welcomed us well, located our bags the next day and had them delivered. The staff tended to us well throughout the week. Our room was as requested and was comfortable and quiet. We also liked the breakfast arrangements - relaxing and unhustled and good choice of food. We found the hotel was well-situated for walking to the ancient sites and shopping areas, and there were handy restaurants nearby.
The hotel is located in a quiet location, yet on a main road. The hotel ticks boxes for a short stay, such as being clean, comfortable and serves a good breakfast, with also reasonably priced room service. It is best described as a business style hotel. Traffic noise in the front rooms is an issue, but at least you have a view to the main road. The customer service and front desk could be improved. Having travelled over twenty hours to get to Athens, and explaining this to the man on the desk, it was not a friendly or warm welome for my first impression of the city. Anyway, as a woman, I found the hotel and location safe and close to public transport to get to to the centre of Athens, or a short twenty minute walk. There are plenty of small restaurant options nearby towards the American Embassy.
Near Syntagma Square, home to the Greek Parliament, Athens’ most expensive residential quarter is the domain of wealthy Greeks and foreign embassy staff. Glamorous socialites frequent the fashionable bar-restaurants, chic boutiques and designer stores. A funicular serves the pine-clad slopes of Mount Lycabettus, and several of Athens’ top museums are within walking distance.
