the staff were exceptional from the guy who picked us up at the airport to the cleaners and the maintenance staff.
the facilities were great, the food was exceptional and the location is fantastic. couldnt have asked for more.
We paid for the cheapest room, Superior apartment, but were given an upgrade to a Deluxe Villa free of charge! The place was excellent and the staff were marvellous, so friendly and polite, nothing was too much trouble.

Our stay was fabulous. The staff, food and location are all perfect. The pool is stunning and the view is the best I've ever seen. Our room was on point and super comfortable and clean. I will definitely go back on my next visit.

I went on my own as my friend lost her flight at London. I felt so overprotected for the staff, they gave me direction to go to everywhere, Its totally secure Samui you don't need to be scared about anything because its totally safe to go around the Island on your own, there are a lot of Markets an shops, the beach totally safe as well if you want to stay on your own by the Hotel, the bar and Restaurant are just by the beach.
The Staff is the best at the Hotel they are professional and very Helpful. The room are over clean, and they have safety box but everything you have in the room its safe.
Breakfast in the morning SUPER!!!!!!. Just please look after the pets the cats around are HUNGRY!!!!!!

This hotel is new and one of the best resorts on chaweng beach, the breakfast is great and served in an air conditioned restaurant which is unusual for thailand, the pool is huge and we never had a problem getting a sun bed as they are plentiful and the pool being so close to the beach you have plenty of choice, the manager Chris is fantastic and the resort is very lucky to have him his English and personal touch are fabulous he is a huge asset to this company and the reason we would definately return.
Everything was amazing. Staff are very attentive by pool bringing water and fruit. Two pools to choose from and even though the resort was fully booked when were there it didn't seem crowded at all. Always a lounger by the pool available. Cocktail of the day was priced well at 150bhat. Breakfast is made to order as well as the buffet. Would love to stay here again. Only thing to note is that bed are pretty hard.
Nora Buri truly did not disappoint. The beach view villas are as beautiful as the photos, with a spectacular view and the private pool was bigger than what I imagined it to be. Location wise it was perfect for me - not too far from the airport, and not too far from Chaweng beach and Fisherman Village Night Market (only on Sat). The resort beach was average but both the public pools with in-pool bars made up for it. The resort is maintained very well, and it never felt crowded although the occupancy was high.
The key highlight was the staff and service. Everyone went out of the way and genuinely tried to assist me in all ways possible to maximize my holiday experience and even spending. Two notable mentions is Wee at front desk and Su at the restaurant. Wee was stellar in helping me get a room with a better view, never giving me a sense that it was too much trouble for him. He even remembered to follow up on the smallest things (that I even forgot about). Su made me feel like a friend every time I bumped into him at the restaurant by engaging in good conversation.
Breakfast was average, but the view from the restaurant was stellar. I did not get an opportunity to use the spa facilities so I can't comment on that.
I was looking for a really good beach holiday and I got everything I wanted and more. Overall I would definitely consider coming back to this resort in future.
Spent 7 nights at Centara Grand in October 2014, we had a fantastic time the staff were lovely always smiling, made freiends with the some of the girls on reception and they are great girls, stayed in a deluxe ocean view room, it was nice had a big balcony overlooking the grounds and the beach very relaxing. The Hotel is on the beach and its clean white sand it was beautiful, Breakfast needs to be looked at as it beacame very repetative and they need to have a better selection of Tea's.
I had a Body Scrub and massage in the Spa and it was fantastic costs a little more than outside but you cannot compare it was worth it.
Overall we had great holdiay and enjoyed our stay at Centara and will return next year.
