Samui Heritage Resort Thailand
This resort is in a quiet tranquil garden setting. A pleasant stay, however a microwave, clothes horse, knives and coffee mugs for self-catering would have been appreciated as there is no communal lounge or diningroom. The pool area lacked seating and could only accommodation a single group. Umbrellas were tatty and tired. The road leading to the beach is very busy and difficult to cross over. The staff were wonderfully friendly and kind.

Staff were beyond helpful. We decided to extend our stay in Fisherman's Village and popped in the night bwfore to say we'd be arriving early and could we use the pool. When we arrived the next morning theyd got our room ready for us! A toaster would be a good addition.

Great Location close to Fisherman’s Village
Loved my stay. Great location close to Fisherman’s and quiet enough for a getaway. It takes a little time getting used to the outdoor bathroom, but the aircon kept the mosquitoes away from the room, and the bathroom is still private enough. For light sleepers, the heavy doors being shut by neighbours may be an issue. But that was not a problem for myself. Overall, enjoyed my stay and got value for my money.

I loved how quiet is was there, and also the closeness to the market ( just across the road ). The open air bathroom was quiet unique, and the visitor I had in there one nigh in particular - being a large lizard. That was my parting gift from the bathroom. Being in Thailand I think this is something that you need to expect to see though, and I just went with the experience :-) Awesome place to stay, and would stay there again.

I loved this little resort. It feels like you’re in a jungle oasis. The outdoor shower was beautiful. Great pool. Friendly staff. Large rooms. I’m staying here when I come back. Just be careful crossing the busy street to get to the beach but it’s so worth it to stay here. Thank you again heritage!

19 nights! Well-preserved pool - depth of 90 cm to 200 cm. Very friendly staff that fixes problems immediately. We'll be back.

Cosy small hotel but furniture in the rooms are hollow and as a result makes louder sound if you drop something on it or hit on it accidentally. Bathroom door makes a loud sound when you close it. As a result it affects next door unit. Location is not too bad with night markets on MOndays Wednesdays and Fridays.

OK I’ll begin with the worst thing about the room 108 the bed it was the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever had the misfortune to sleep on it was so hard and uneven it needs replacing. On the plus side the staff were great from the night security guard,housekeeping to front desk a credit to the resort Thank you all. If you are looking lots of amenities then this place won’t suit you it’s small the rooms outdoor bathroom,bedroom and living room reception building and pool area.

The whole experience was good. The fittings etc are a bit tired. The window seat is very uncomfortable. It;s a pity there is no comfortable seat for reading.

Quaint little resort
Hotel was quaint. I'm pretty sure we were the only ones there. Nice pool. Good security and walking distance to night Market and fushermans wharf! Would definitely stay again

Quiet Resort with Beach Access
Beautiful little resort right next to Fisherman Village which is full of shops and restaurants. Very quiet neighborhood and secluded from the main road.

Room moldy and full of deet spray for Misquito's!
The room was full of mold, couldn't breath. Plus there are outdoor lily ponds everywhere, which are beautiful to look at but the resulting massive Misquito heaven is not. The sparred the room full of deet to rid them. But so toxic. It was to late I'd night to find a new place, they had no other rooms to offer. Yet not sure any room there would be better. Great location near fishermens village and quiet but I felt sick spending the night there.

Great value for money in a handy location
For what I paid, I reckon this place is pretty amazing. I loved the grounds, and pool, and enjoyed the spacious rooms, with cooking and tea/coffee facilities. I even liked the outdoor shower, tho the mozzies were a bit of a nuisance! It's easy walking distance from the Fisherman's Wharf and the beach, and for breakfast you cannot go past the French-inspired Bar Baguette for decent coffee and food (tho it's a bit pricy by Thai standards).

Top value with charm
We needed to stay at Samui Heritage Resort (SHR) as the hotel we stayed at before (Prana Nandana) was full. Although it is less luxurious at 1/4 of the price, we regretted to not have stayed here for the duration of our trip. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the property radiates charm. To call it a resort is maybe a little exaggerated but it does radiate much more peace and beauty than Prana. Location is excellent as there are many top places nearby: fisherman village, Coco's bech bar, Zazen, Le Boudoir, Maenem beach. A scooter or frequent use of taxi will be required if you stay more than a day or two and want to explore more of the island. We would definitely stay here again.

We had to book alternative for Prana Nandana which was full this last night of our stay. Considering value this Samui Heritage is so much better. It is charming and that outwayed for us that the facilities and bed are more basic of course. We regretted to not have stayed here all 5 days. It is central and luxury for drinks or dinner you can easily find steps away (e.g. zazen, coco beach bar).

Decent for 1-2days
The hotel staff was very lovely. The ladies at front desk went above and beyond to help me booking trains and ferry back to Bangkok. The rooms could be remodeled a bit as they are showing their age. The mattress wasn't great. I'm not super picky but I can see a person that is being uncomfortable. It is a great place as a stop over in Bophut. I wasn't very fond of Boohut but if you are the. It is very central hotel. They also have a nice little pool area which is nice. Overall property has tons of potential just needs some TLC.

Decent small budget hotel
The staff at this hotel is lovely. I wouldn't refer to it as a resort as it doesn't have amenities to be categorized a resort. It is ok hotel if you are on a budget. The benches in front of room are in bad shape. The lock to room is very fussy perhaps has been tampered with previously. It has potential to be much nicer if they remodel a little but all in all decent place.

Great value stay
A great little find, tucked away off the main road, so you don't feel like you are on the road at all. It's peaceful and the room was very spacious with separate living area with a large Fridge, kettle, free tea/coffee, sink, food prep area, dining table and two chairs, and an area to sit outside. The pool area at reception was a minute away and very nice with lots of sun loungers and parasols and the staff were very attentive, helpful and smiled. It's not on the beach, it's across the main road, but only a few minutes away, so for the price, the location is great, all the other resorts their on the beach cost way more. It's near plenty of shops restaurants and bars and you can easily get taxis or motorbike rentals to get about.

We enjoyed our stay here. The pool area was comfortable although it could definitely use some upgrading overall. The lounge chair cushions are not comfortable. The room was good, but had a few issues like ceiling fan was very noisy and a/c is only in the bedroom and it wasn't the best. The bathroom is outside which I did not like!! Mosquitos were a problem for me. There are a few good places to eat a few minutes walk down the main road, we liked K-siri for good thai food.

Just needed a night's stay..
Samui Heritage Resort is ok for a short stay. A short walk to Bophut Beach and Fisherman's Village. The grounds of the hotel is lovely. Unfortunately the room was not in a great condition. It was old and not very clean. Reception is not open 24 hours. But we emailed the hotel and they had someone to wait for us to check in around 10pm.

Loved it here. Place was super clean. Amazing outdoor indoor shower. Room was modern and had a massive living area . Small housws not an appointment. Really close to a new resturant and high life area. Staff were great.

Perfect Lil Holiday Spot
We really enjoyed our time at the Samui Heritage Resort. Staff were so welcoming and friendly!! Really went the extra mile to make the stay great. 3 min walk to fishermans market and a 7/11 next door with everything you need. We had a two bedroom suite and were blown away with the size of the rooms. Highly recommended and would certainly stay there again.

Lovely quiet resort
Stayed here for 2 weeks for our honeymoon. It's a lovely quiet resort and would highly recommend. The only noise would be from the various frogs which reside in the small ponds in front of the bungalows! The resort is in a good location in Bo Phut directly opposite the beach, Fisherman's Village and The Wharf which is a new shopping village (5min walk after crossing semi-busy road). There is a night market in the Fisherman's Village twice a week which I would highly recommend for tasty street food, souvenirs and cheap cocktails (very lethal...). Good communication prior to arrival arranging an airport transfer for us also. Approx 15min taxi ride to the airport.

Great location for the price
The hotel is small with a nice little pool we were very often the only people that used it. The reception staff were excellent and helped with everything that we asked for. The hotel in very well located only 5 min walk from fisherman's village and opposite the new shopping mall, the only thing is you do need to cross the busy main road.

Unique hotel!
Loved this unique hotel. The outdoor bathrooms add to the experience,and the little villas are great with their own kitchen and living areas. Pool is nice,staff friendly. It's a bit of a walk to the main street (Fisherman's Pier),about 10 minutes. Which can be quite a struggle in the heat. The area the hotel is in is on a main busy street,which must be walked to get to the touristy bit. I would highly recommend this hotel and fisherman's pier to my friends. Great place to stay for a night or 2.

Strange place.
The hotel is located at Bophut Beach. It is quite good place, not very noisy and not too silent. There are a lot of shops, restaurants, agencies of entertainments, there is clear and beautiful beach. About hotel. There is no own hotel's beach and it is about 15-20 min to go by foot to the nearest beach. Good territory of the hotel, but you can face a snake as forest is near the hotel. Rooms are dark. There are mosquitos in rooms and staff can't help with it. Also we cannot find any remedy without flavour to solve this problem. If you need to order taxi or transfer to airport, do it in the afternoon, nobody in the hotel will help you to order car in the evening.

The Location is not bad, you can just walk about 5-10mins to rent the motorbike, that's only THB 200 per day and the fishermens' village is quite near from the place you rent the bike, it's about 5-10mins to reach the village and 15-20mins to reach Meanam's Jetty from the Heritage hotel. We asked for help to book the ferry to Koh Phangan on next day, they are helpful & friendly, they check with ferry company immediately & update us once they got the feedback. But our room is not clean, there is dust on the floor & fan and the light on top of the entrance are broken ..... but, we are satisfied as there is MYR60-MYR70 per person per night for the air condition room which included breakfast ^^
