“Excellent hotel”

Caught a taxi to the Monterey from Shin Kobe station (about a 1000 Yen ride). Hotel is right next to Ikuta Shrine and quite close to Sannomiya Station and the shopping district. We had a double room which was quite large and very comfortable. Free internet provided. Staff proficient in English if you are an non-Japanese speaker. Highly recommend this hotel for its pleasant atmosphere. Will be coming back. :)

“Quiet quality”

Located within easy walking distance of the main Kobe station this older style hotel offers a quiet, convenient location close to many intersting restaurants.

Traveller's tip
If you are looking for a quiet but pleasant non-pretentious hotel the Hotel Monterey Kobe fits the bill.

“Bien placé”

Chambre avec "grand lit double" mais de petite taille :-( Style et charme discutable avec carrelage dans les chambre, donc impression de réelle fraîcheur. Serait peut être mieux l'été! Rapport qualité prix pas intéressant. Avantages: à 2 pas du métro qui permet de rejoindre facilement Shin-Kobe et donc le réseau du Shinkansen (Tokyo-Hakata). Près des centres pour faire des achats, dîner...
