“A wonderful holiday”

This hotel is set on the beach and has a lovely pool as its centre piece. It would be a 4 star resort. The staff are gracious and very at tentative. The restaurant offers a fantastic breakfast buffet with a huge variety of food to tempt you. At night the restaurant has theme nights with a lacerate menu or buffet dinner. The resort offers a fantastic spa/massage therapy which is a must. They have a number of activates such as kayaking and snorkelling. The resort is located a short taxi ride to the town where there are many dining, bars and shopping places to visit. We stayed in a Superior room which was adequate for two adults with a king bed, bathroom and balcony. We would definitely go back.

“Perfect if this is what you want”

What you get: - Spectacular well-maintained grounds and trees everywhere. I laughed when one review said the resort was on a steep hill in a rain forest - it is more like a stroll in a formal garden - but it does look like forest from the water. - Use the spa. After a discount, Thai massage was one quarter the price in North America. Remember to add a tip. - Very quiet - Nice pool - Kayaking (but no other water sports) - Close to airport - Close bus or taxi ride to noisy, fun Chaweng Beach What is missing: 1/ No snorkeling at all. Better to take a boat to a hotel on Koh Pha-ngan if that is what you want. 2/ No waves at all. The ocean bottom is okay, sand with a little mud and seaweed, but shallow even for swimming Pay attention to time of year, Ko Samui has a different rainy season than Phuket.

“Very good one”

Very good location. Quiet nice neighbourhood. Noise and dirt of the urbanised area is sufficiently far away. Close to everything (tuk-tuks are easy to take right in the front of the hotel). 5 min trip to the center of the buzz (clubs and bars). Nice SPA in the holel. Excellent breakfast with a see view. Good food. Very good service. Personnel is very friendly and helpful. Really did not expect that the trip would be that great. Nice beach, no underwater rocks. No tides. Very relaxing atmosphere

“Beautiful Resort”

Our room was excellent with heaps of space with good decore. The privacy of the Nora oceanside pool villa was perfect for our relaxing stay.

“great hotel - value for money”

Nora Beach resort was our landing point in Thailand, and it was a great place to start. the warm welcome, magnificent bungalow and proximity to ko-samui airport made our stay a pleasure. the only thing to consider is the location which could be most suitable for family with children, however for couples who want to find a quite and exotic place ko-samui in general and chaweng beach in particular is not -the- place to stay. for this try ko-tao island.

“A peaceful retreat.”

The hotel was a very pleasant surprise. It offered the comort and luxury of any good 5-star hotel albeit in a very traditional, natural and green surrounding. Could not have been more relaxing. However, the gym at the resort however leaves much to be desired for. A signle small room with one treadmill no cycle and some weights. It has its own pool (beautiful and conveneint to relax in...not for exercise swimming though). and its own beach-front restaurant / lobby. The breakfast is served at the beachfront restaurant and is very relaxing. The rooms are comfortable and convenient. as are the washrooms. The TV in the rooms can be improved as can be the choice of TV channels. overall, we had a great experience.

“Breathtaking.....”

Thinking that I was booked into the Nora hotel in the main drag of Chaweng high street it came as as a big suprise to find myself taken to the Beach and Spa resort(I had made a mistake when booking). But how glad I was for that mistake! A lovely hotel in a breathtaking setting(having a very nice breakfast overlooking the Gulf of Thailand with a tropical island not four hundred meters away is hard to beat) with very nice staff. The location is great, near enough to the main part of Chaweng without being too close and not too far from Bophut and with a scooter high shop about 100 meters away. Would highly recommend this hotel and would go back again, if only to see the scenery of the hotel again. I have no complaints whatsoever.

“Can't beat the view at breakfast!”

The hotel nestles ever so perfectly into the landscape, so it feels almost like a little jungle retreat rather than a beach resort. The hotel has its own beach and while we were there, it felt like our own person. You can also rent ocean kayaks and snorkel gear for next to nothing from the service people by the pool. If you want to do day trips out to the Marine Park, the reception was more than helpful and set us on a great tour. The hotel itself good use some light sprucing up, but it was really nice and we would recommend it. Don't get me wrong, it is really nice, but it isn't NEW. Breakfast was wonderful. They make eggs to order with anything you want. Each day there was another station where they were making waffles or crepes or Thai soup ect. There is sausages and beans to the Brits, French toast and pancakes to the Americans, musceli and yogurt to the Scandinavians and Germans, and dim sum and fried rice to the Asians. Dinner at the hotel was very nice. The food was both western and Thai, and the same price as in town. They had two people who played acoustic guitar that were quite good and could play most requests. On the checkout day we could use the showers at the spa in the evening before our flight which was really nice. In the airport they can also check your baggage through even if you are flying with different carriers, and booked separately.
