We had a great time at Pimalai everything was fantastic from the moment we were collected at the airport to when we were dropped off at our next place on our trip. The beach is great this time of year with waves for bodyboarding ( body boards are provided). There are daily activities and on one of the days we did a Thai boxing class which was great fun albeit a bit sweaty! I have no words to describe the breakfast, my expectations of breakfast have at least tripled. On top of everything else what really makes this place great is the staff they are all so friendly and helpful and sometimes seem to know what you want just before you do even! Stay here and have a fantastic holiday!
When we arrived at Krabi our Taxi was there waiting. Our driver was very polite and informative. we was greated with refreshments etc. once at the resort it was just amazing, beautiful. The staff was so polite & helpful they greated us with refreshments it was smooth checking in & out. All around the resort was just AMAZING!! We would most definitely go back.

This was lovely hotel on a tiny peninsula in north east Ko Lanta. Late June is mooted to be the wet season but we had sun sun sun. And as hot as you please of course. Lovely breakfast overlooking the Andaman Sea. Some of the best dinners we had in Thailand. Excellent and sizable swimming pools. Excellent and reasonably priced spa treatments (thank you for uplifting head massages!). Loved this hotel. The nearby town of Saladan is more than a short walk away but was pretty quiet anyway so nothing much missed.

Excellent stay at Twin Lotus. We loved it so much we extended our stay by two days. the beach is beautiful and very clean. The beach areas in either side of the Twin Lotus property is not well kept and had lots of garbage all over. The room was nice but the towels were dingy and need replacing. Food at the hotel is expensive and not great. Better to take a tuk tuk to town to eat.

We stayed in a room with pool access. Pool hour is slightly conservative, 7:00-18:00. We liked a little more extension.
The resort is close to beach and we also enjoyed it.
There are many restaurants around the resort and convenient for dining.
Facilities are almost OK for all. The biggest problem with the resort is Mosquitos.
In all corners of the room, there are herd of mosquitos. Everyday we requested housekeeping for extermination.
Over all, this is a very relaxing resort
Good location and the beach front villas were in the best position. Great having the pool near the beach. Happy room was close to pool. Lunch and dinner were usual Thai standard. Breakfast was disappointing and had no bacon. Room was pleasant but bathroom is a bit outdated and not set up well.
If your mobility isn't great then this place is not for you. All the rooms are located up a long hill and there are no mini carts to take you from the entrance to your room which I feel is a requirement. The staff don't speak great english. However the rooms are nice and comfortable, only thing that lets it down is the bathroom, it smells so bad and isn't as clean as the bedroom. The decor should be a lot nicer as the bedroom is good.
Don't pay for the breakfast it's awful and a rip off, just different types of egg. There are restaurants near by which are nicer and cheaper.
"Lovely hotel in excellent location on the beach "
The resort is lovely, right on the beach. The rooms are nicely furnished and very spacious. The breakfast was satisfactory however we did not eat in the hotel for lunch and dinner. There we lots of restaurants near the hotel on the beach that we tried. Overall a very enjoyable stay at the royal lanta resort.
Lanta Island is a cultural melting pot. Chinese merchants live side-by-side with Thai fishing families. Nine beaches line the west coast, with Ban Saladan being the main centre for dive shops and dining. The island can be reached by ferry from both Krabi (2 hours) and Trang (2.5 hours).
