“Solid location for football games”

Stayed here for UT/Buffalo football game. Solid location, about a 10 minute walk to the stadium. Hotel shuttle took us into town that night for free - nice perk of the hotel. I would stay here again.

“Holiday Inn World's Fair Park - Knoxville”

Hotel was okay. We were on the second floor, which was okay for two reasons: 1) getting in and out of the hotel, 2) the exercise room and pool was also located on the 2nd floor. Can't really say anything bad about the hotel. They offer free shuttle, but we ended up taking a cab because shuttle wasn't around during the times we needed it. All in all I would recommend it.

“University of Montana, Griz fans visit Knoxville”

One of the friendliest places to visit! Wow, everywhere we went we were greeted with a warm welcome! Beautiful Hotel, wonderful staff! Perfect location!

Area recommendations

Market Square was a happening place! Very fun! Short walk from hotel.

Getting around

Rented a car and never needed to use it. Hotel has shuttle running to get you where you need to go! Location of hotel is convenient to everything. Plus only about 15 minutes from the airport.

“Friendliest people in the USA!”

I would rate it a "5" all the way but, We had to pay an additional $26 for parking when we checked out. I believe this charge should have been paid for when we booked this trip or we should have been told of the charge when we checked in. Never heard of having to pay addition for parking your car at a hotel you are staying at.

“Great hotel but room a little dirty upon arrival”

This is a really comfortable hotel and the decor was nice, but I was there for the bar exam and I didn't have much time to enjoy it. I did notice that the room was not as clean when I arrived as I would have expected. There was popcorn on the floor and some trash on the bathroom counter, but otherwise, I was very satisfied with the room.

“Holiday Inn - World's Fair Knoxville”

The only negative I can think of is that the bathroom is quite small. But there are a lot of positives. The service was great at the front desk as well as the maid service. There isn't a gift shop. Great restaurant. One other guest who was on the 11th floor told me there wasn't a pop machine on that floor and had to go all the way done to the main floor. We stayed on the sixth floor and we had one near the three elevators. The hotel was recently remodeled which made a huge difference. Good job Holiday Inn. Everyone was very helpful and friendly.

Market Square which is approximately four blocks away where there are several great restaurants.
