Spacious yesteryear charm

Posted 02-Mar-2015
This hotel is stuck in the last century. While the room is spacious with fridge and microwave, I can't help feeling being in a time loop. The decor is late eighties and could use an overhaul. My favorite was the pool, hot tub and sauna. There is even a steam room but it wasn't turned on at the time. The exercise room is in need of some upgrades. Equipment is limited and partially unusable. Breakfast is good.

Nice Family Friendly Hotel

Posted 17-Feb-2015
Pros: The pool was wonderful! Our kids loved it! The view was beautiful. Although we didn't use them there were several restaurants coffee close.
Cons: We were there on a busy weekend, we were not able to check in as early as we needed, and since there is only 1 elevator, there was a usually a wait.
Location: Close to several food places, and Dutch Brothers. Not too close to down town, but K Falls is small so it is only a 5-10 minute drive.
We stayed at the Shilo Inn, Klamath Falls recently for a family wedding. We have two small children who enjoyed the hotel experience. Our children would have lived in the pool the whole time if we would have let them. We went to the hotel between the wedding and reception to check in. It was too early to check in, the front desk gal said that it was a busy weekend, and that check in time wasn't until 3, but we wouldn't be able to check in until 3:30 or 4. We wanted to get our stuff to our room, and let our girls run some wiggles out, since we had a 6 hour car ride, and a wedding! And I needed to nurse our baby. Fortunately my husbands parents were staying at the same hotel and already had their room since they came the day before, so we were able to use their room for a little bit!

Convenient stay for my occasion

Posted 12-Feb-2015
I had never stayed at the Shilo before, I'm from California and they don't have this chain there, but would recommend this hotel but not for a very long stay. Staff was friendly, but not very smiley. I would bring your own pillow. They had two different types and I couldn't handle either one. My neck was so sore. Breakfast was okay. I've had better continental breakfasts elsewhere. price was great. Went thru Expedia and got big discount. Would recommend for future stays :)

Nice hotel near hospital

Posted 27-Jan-2015
Pros: Comfortable beds, great water pressure
Location: 24 hour Dutch Bros coffee across the street!
We always stay at this Shilo when visiting our family in Klamath Falls. The staff is friendly, beds are comfortable and it always seems very quiet even when you know there are a lot of other people there.

Large hotel, near to our friends house.

Posted 11-Jan-2015
Pros: Lobby was big and opened. Lots of places to sit and relax and have some coffee. It was right off the highway, and offered eating options.
Cons: Bring your own pillows, theirs are very hard, otherwise very comfortable.
Location: Nice location. Not far from restaurants and town. Went to Mr. B's for dinner, excellent.
It was just a one night stay, so was not at the hotel much. It was a pleasant stay and we would stay there again.

Nice stop-over hotel

Posted 08-Jan-2015
Pros: The value received for the low price was excellent. The location is very convenient for travelers. The on-site restaurant and sports bar are excellent
Cons: The d├ęcor in my rooms was dated.... and faded. The faded lampshade next to the bed was really tacky. Staff missed a pair of socks on the floor.
Location: Relatively quiet location. If your room faces the highway, you have the option of running the HVAC fan full-time for "white noise".
The hotel is conveniently located right off the main highway used by travelers in the area (US97).
