I stayed in the hotel recently with my family for a week's skiing. The hotel is modern and stylish, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's in an excellent location, only 100m from the ski lift. Dining was excellent. Highly recommended and we'd definitely stay there again.

It was OK. I had the "family room" which sleeps 4 in two twin beds and a bunk-bed. The room had a kitchenette with small refrigerator – which was very convenient. The Hotel is located very close to the ski slopes as well as to the town of Levi. The breakfast was adequate and the staff was helpful almost all the time. The one down side was the Spa's stipulation that men wear bathing trunks made out of "Speedo" material in the swimming pool areas – which did look very cool. I showed up with my Myrtle Beach swim trunks - which have a liner - and was told by the lifeguard (who was wearing a swimsuit very similar to mine) that I could not enter because my trunks had to be made of "Speedo" material. He did mention that I could rent appropriate trunks or buy one at the hotel store…but, not being an olympic swimmer, I thought it best to avoid that inappropriate Speedo look that we have all seen. So, I opted out and simply went skiing. Yeah…me in a Speedo…I don't think so. And renting a Speedo…yeah, again…I don't think so…that's just gross. I suppose I could have bought one - but spending a lot of cash to embarrass myself in a one-off swimming experience isn't going to happen. So, I headed to the slopes. So, if you do go to the pool/Spa, bring an appropriate suit or be prepared to buy one at Finnish prices!
The hotel was so easy to get to on the local bus at just over 7 euros. As we arrived extremely late on the first evening we were given an alternative huge family room which was no issue as we were just glad to arrive but the staff were so attentative and offered us tickets for a concert that we had travelled to Levi to see and also vouchers for eating out. We were happy enough with just the offer so just took them up on the eating out vouchers.
When we got to our proper room it had everything that we needed, we have stayed at this hotel on many occasions previously and find it caters for every need.
Since our last stay with them they have changed the ground floor lobby area to include a 24 hour bar with snacks available which is a great improvement.
We have to admit that as we do not have children we found that staying at Hullu Poro at this time rather than just before Christmas was ideal as there were not lots of spoilt children running around causing havoc everywhere so we will return next February as we can not rate this hotel enough.
There are many other hotels in the village but this is by far the best, Well done Hullu Poro. Kiitos...
Great location on slope, clean and well designed, no carpet floors in rooms, easy access to village with the "private" gondola lift, very spacious lobby & restaurants & rooms.
Minus are the lack of cable TV channels and surprisingly small sauna department. But at Levi, you should be outside enjoying yourself anyway.

We have visited Levi twice now, so I feel we can recommend K5 with some authority.
Rooms are very spacious and the kids loved the outlook to the reindeer in the grounds below. Importantly to a mother of two young children, there is good separation of sleeping areas, a drying cupboard, self-laundry facilities and a great restaurant.

I am surpised this hotel is a Tripadvisor winner for 2013...
Very poor buffet for breakfast and dinner.
Rude and not heplful reception staff. Also, the reception is closed in the evening and open at 7am in the morning. Can you believe that?! So, if you need them, they are not there fir you!
If your stay include Sunday, just bare in mind that no one will clean your room. You have to request that...and so far this is a 4 star hotel..
Definitely I wont return in Saaga Hotel.
