“Siverdale Hotel”
The hotel accommodations were fine. Our only issue was that there was to be internet access in the room and there was not. Internet was not available in the lobby either. We had to go to starbucks and hang out to get some work done!
“Seen better days”
I've stayed at the Silverdale Beach hotel many times over 15 years. The hotel needs a major remodel. No baseboards, chipped furniture and noon room safe. All while charging for a "resort" fee.
“Use it oftern”
I would recommend this motel to my friends. It is clean, comfortable, and is easy to check in and out.
“LOVED our Waterfront Balcony !!!!!!”
We LOVED our stay at the Silverdale Beach Hotel ! Very friendly and courtious Staff, lovely, clean room, super Balcony overlooking the bay. We enjoyed the big screen TV with free DVD player rental and the other fine "extras". We would encourage ANYONE to stay here !!
“Not Impressed”
The pictures on the site made the hotel look a lot nicer than it was in real life. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to any of my friends. Next time I'm in the area I will stay at another hotel.
“Not worth the price”
I took my wife here to get away from the house for an evening and go swimming. The woman working at the front desk was ignorant and rude. The resort fee is $10, not $5. The hotel looked pretty dumpy from the outside, but most of the inside was okay. The room was nice except for the lumpy bed. We opted for the ocean view, but it wasn't worth it because there isn't anything to see. When we decided to go to the pool we had to go all the way down to the sub level on the one functioning elevator (the other was broken) and walk down a bland hallway into this horribly bright green room that was the "gym," then up some stairs into the pool room. The pool was heated which was nice. The hot tub was also nice, but very small. There were several sets of doors into the pool room from outside with signs stating "must remain shut due to health department regulations," but they were apparently open as drunk bar patrons from the restaurant kept walking in and out. Also, the "sauna" listed in the amenities might as well be called "cheaply made stained pine room with space heater." Overall I was very underwhelmed by this hotel. It should have a two star rating, not three and the "resort" label they give themselves is a joke. The place is a dump.
“Just okay”
I've stayed here twice in the last month. The first time I was not so impressed with front desk or the room. Front desk wouldn't let me book at the desk, I had to log on to my smart phone to book through Expedia. The room was in various stages of remodel or something of the sort. This last time, 2 nights ago, the front desk didn't allow me to check in before 3pm (it was 2:50 pm), however the room was better, but the TV was a little dated. I would have stayed at the hotel across the street but they were sold out. All in all, just okay for the Expedia rate, but I wouldn't have paid rack rate.
“Could use some work”
We were charged a "Resort fee" for things that we never used. The carpets should be replaced. The kids running down the halls woke us up. They promised a newspaper in the morning that we never saw. It was hard to find a place to park the lot was so full.
“Very nice place”
But for the fitness room, which was somewhat underwhelming, this is a really nice facility. Staff is helpful and friendly; views are great; convenient to food and mall; prices reasonable. Free wifi throughout, though the further away from lobby, signal gets a bit weaker (they said they're going to install more routers or access points). I was there three nights in June 2011. Will stay there again next time I'm in the area.
“Great Room”
Room was comfy and super clean. View of the bay, nice balcony. The worst part was waiting to check in and the ridicilous 10 fee per day for pretty minimal amenities.
