Good close to where we wanted to be!

Posted 08-Nov-2014
Pros: Clean rooms well located for us!
Location: Maybe not the best location for business men a bit of a distance from Downtown. But close to my sisters place where we wanted to be!
Clean staff were excellent very helpful. Great breakfast!

ok

Posted 29-Oct-2014
Pros: The staff was friendly. The rooms where clean and quiet . The beds where comfortable. I was able to get to a shopping mall quickly and easily.
Location: Getting on and off the major freeways was easily done from this location.
The hotel reminded me of my teen age travel times. The room was small but very clean. The coffee maker was tucked into a cabinet making it hard to read and understand the directions to use it. I parked in front of the sliding door to enter my room. The lock on the sliding door did not work but the drop down door bar did. The bed was very comfortable With lots of pillows. I had planned a full evening and returned late. After a good nights sleep in a quiet room I got my morning coffee and was able to have a great day after check out. If you plan to be out on the town like me this was a great stay. If you plan to be in your room a lot with guest you will want something a little more.

Clean hotel room good but noise level bad

Posted 11-Oct-2014
Hotel room was clean without a heavy chemical smell. It was nice to be offered a complimentary dinner. It was simple yet filling. The noise of the heater turning on and off during the night disturbed our sleep. Also, the noise of the #8 hyway.

Great stay at a hotel that is centrally located!

Posted 06-Oct-2014
Location: Plenty of restaurants, gas stations near by. Centrally located.
I loved our stay. We usually stay at the Hampton Inn but wanted to try something closer to our daughter's house. The hotel staff and rooms were great. It has easy access from the expressway and easy travel to downtown. Even though it is located by a busy highway our room was quiet and we had a great night's sleep. We travel from the states to visit our daughter and we will definitely be back in the future.

Location

Posted 17-Sep-2014
Pros: The staff were so friendly and helpful and that helped make our stay so much better.
Cons: Had a problem with the wifi that couldn't be resolved. I therefore had to use the business center which was fine with me.
Location: We didn't things nearby as it was a late summer trip, not much happening.
Hotel was located just off a major road and gave us easy on/off access to locations we went to. We really enjoyed our room. We had a ground floor room and therefore we had patio doors. Got to park right outside room, great. Breakfast was slightly different each day, room was clean and the staff was awesome!

Hotel right off 401

Posted 14-Sep-2014
Pros: Excellent staff, very clean room, comfortable bed and great location!
Cons: The breakfast sausage
Location: There are several good restaurants within walking distance and a huge shopping mall just minutes away.
We were celebrating my birthday and wanted to spend the night in a hotel in Kitchener and go out for a nice supper. Our experience was a very positive one! The front desk person was very friendly and helpful during our check-in. We were pleasantly surprised to find that our standard King bedroom was very clean and had ample space. The bedding looked clean and modern. The bathroom looked a little dated but was very clean which is important to us. The King bed was very comfortable. Even though this hotel is right off of the 401 you could not hear the sound of the cars. We tried Ennios Italian Restaurant for the first time which was only about a 5 minute drive from the hotel and it was superb! The free breakfast in the morning offered many choices and the staff were super attentive and friendly. We will definitely stay again!

Overpriced for what you get

Posted 13-Sep-2014 on Hotels.com
Our room was nice enough with comfy bedding and pillows. Both my husband and I woke up with sore backs the next morning, however. Our room had a king size bed which was nice but because our room was angular, it left little room to get around the bed beside the dresser. The breakfast room was quite small and hard to get around. The food was okay. Before we left, I used the female/male washroom down the hall. It had toilet paper on the floor and I watched ants crawl around the paper. I just didn't find it worth the price.

Convenient to 401

Posted 13-Sep-2014
Pros: the bed.
Cons: Lots.
The hotel was not what I expected for a 4 rating. I don't understand how that hotel rated that high. The only thing that was nice was the bed and linens. The hotel is dated, the food dreadful, even the smell of the basic dinner served, soup and chili smelled dreadful. We went off site for dinner. The air conditioner kept us awake most the night, the sink drain didn't drain. I have experienced Best Western hotels and they all fail for for not being updated. They all do however have nice beds.
