even though the neighborhood is not the best, it is convenient, clean and a good value for the price. The service is really good also.

“Extremely convenient”

Located right in the Kista Mall, and next door to the metro station / bus station the location is perfect. The room was large, light and airy. Came complete with a small kitchen and ironing board and iron etc. + basic TV services. Kista Mall has a 2 supermarkets open from early to late, and a huge selection of food outlets.

“Good hotel... but not all staff happy to assist.”

The hotel is about 6 underground station from the city centre, about 20min... good for the price. Apartment was new, comfortable and had a great breakfast included in the attached gallery. Only point was one staff at the reception that wasn't happy about assisting us regarding understanding transport to the airport. I would recommend this hotel, but would really hope you don't have to count on this one at the reception.

“a convenient apartment hotel”

If you need to stay in Kista, this hotel is very centrally located, right next to the station, shopping centre and business district. The shopping centre has a food mall, and there are few restaurants around. Note that the hotel has no central facilities other than a small reception (and laundry rooms and a sauna), though you do get coupons you can use for breakfast in an adjacent restaurant. The rooms are reasonably large and have kitchen facilities, and so are not unsuitable for long-stay (though you would probably be more comfortable in the 1-bedroom apartment rather than their studios, as the former have separate bedroom and living room). Wired internet rather than wireless - bring your own wireless access point or a long cable (3m+) to avoid having to move furniture!

“convenient, clean, quiet, but no soul.”

The StayAt Kista is located above the Kista Galleria (a small mall), right next to the Tunnelbana. Most of the building is student accommodation, but the top three floors of the two towers are the hotel (with the lobby on the ground floor). It has one or two-room apartments, with bathroom off; the 2-room apartments also have an entrance lobby. The rooms are spacious, and each apartment has a kitchen area complete with cooker, microwave, refrigerator, plates, saucepans etc. Wired Ethernet is provided, with no login required: if you forget to bring a cable you can get one from reception, or buy one from the electronics shops in the Mall. There is no restaurant in the Hotel, so instead they give you a breakfast token you can use in a restaurant in the mall. So, perfectly OK for a short stay, and reasonable for a longer one.

“Kista”

I would not say that this hotel is 4 star. It was quite disappointing from that angle. The kitchen surfaces for example were marked, the wood veneer of the bedstead was peeling. Not that I minded it, but it's not 4-star quality. What I did mind though was the bed. It was very uncomfortable and narrow. The rooms are on the 11-13 floor, the rest is a youth hostel or something. The room was larger than a normal hotel room, but not as large as one would expect for an apartment. Breakfast is served in the shopping centre at Levinsky's with a voucher, but they stop at 9.30, which is too early if you are on holiday. They should carry on until 10.30 at least. We did not have any because of it. There is no bath only shower, which was also disappointing. They only clean the room once a week, which is fine by me. The T-bana is right next door, which is handy and it takes about 30 minutes to get into town. The reception area is tiny, but staff was helpful.

“Avoid this hotel!”

I have stayed at many hotels in the world and across Europe and even in Sweden and I have to say it is one of the worst I have ever stayed at. I wouldn't recommend staying here, in fact I would recommend staying in Stockholm itself and getting a taxi to Kista as it works out about the same in terms of price. Unbeleivably we stayed in another well known branded hotel the following night in S'holm and it was cheaper and about 3 stars better in terms of location, quality and amenities and cheaper!!!! Only if I absolutely had to would I stay here again but that is very unlikely!!

“Basic and expensive”

This is basically a student residence with a small kitchen area. Bed is poor and the room has been put together at the lowest possible cost. It's clean and functional, but no-one would want to stay here unless forced to by lack of available rooms nearby. If visiting Kista you'll be much happier elsewhere and travelling each day by TBana or train.
