The place looks beautiful. But I didn't really look at the booking so was surprised to have a separate bathroom and have to go into the communal corridor to use the bathroom. Also, the shower is off the taps, rather than a stand up shower. The room was beautifully decorated but the ceiling is very low where it slopes. I'm 5 foot tall and had to duck to get into bed and use the tea and coffee facilities. My boyfriend is 6 foot 3 and had to stoop a lot. He also was kept awake by the jazz music, or elevator music, coming from the place next to the B&B. There are two steps up into the room. It's not suitable for people unsteady on their feet. The breakfast was very good. The place was extremely clean and the staff are friendly.
We stayed for one night on a Saturday. We were greeted by a very helpful, friendly girl who provided us with everything that we needed. The room was beautiful, overlooking the extensive gardens with the mellowing sound of the little fountain at the back. The room was well appointed, the bathroom was spacious and extremely clean. Breakfast was perfect and served with a smile. I would definitely go back and would be encouraged to stay in and have a meal there as well.

Loved this place, once we found it (don't trust a sat nav!). Welcomed with tea and homemade cake, a beautiful room and fab breakfasts round a huge table with the other guests.
If I'm being really really picky, the only downside is that there is one average pub in walking distance, lovely places within a few minutes in the car though. But I'd give up an evening drink to stay here again!
Warm welcome, very clean, nice lovely and quite location, took a stroll down the road, such a beautiful setting. Will definately come back again and hopefully it won't be too long. Although we only had a light breakfast the menu looked fantastic, had a drink of the most amazing pear and apple juice.
The hotel was brilliant. Extremely clean, the double room we had was spacious and the staff was exceptional. Nothing was to much trouble. The Carvery in the restaurant was great and inexpensive. While the meat was carved for you, you could help yourself to the vegetables . Highly recommended place to stay. We were so impressed we stayed an additional night
