“Great choice in Kiev”

Hotel staff was friendly and everyone speaks at least some English. Free wi-fi is a definite plus. Showers have great water pressure and hot water. Dining options are varied and strong. Catering more to a business crowd but hotel is well located in a quiet, safe area of town -- within easy walking distance of downtown attractions. Definitely recommend it.

“Not cheap but good”

Great hotel, great service, expensive but if you want comfort and a good location it's worth it

Be very careful wih taxis, take the metro, it will be much cheaper

“Loved the location”

We loved the location of the hotel, as we were able to walk to St. Sophia's, St. Michaels', Andrew's Descent, and Independence Square. This was our primary reason for choosing the Radisson, and we were not disappointed. We initially were disappointed that the breakfast buffet was not included, but just down the street, we found a small, walk-down grocery that had great food choices, and charming servers who were friendly and helpful, even with our very limited Russian. Our room was very nice, and very comfortable.

Area recommendations

I would recommend this neighborhood. It was quiet to walk through, and very close to major sights that we wanted to see just by walking. Lovely, shady with sidewalk cafes and coffee shops.

“A very good hotel”

The Radisson Hotel is an excellent value hotel overall in Kiev; quality, comfort, price and service. The help at the reception desk in particular was outstanding, every day, any time.

Traveller's tip

Avoid using hotel taxis - at any hotel in Kiev. Taxis provided by the hotel cost about twice as much as regular taxis and the main advantage is that the driver speaks English. If you do need a hotel taxi, ask the cost of the fare before you order one as in some hotels the driver may overcharge you, making it even more expensive.
