“Best location in Kiev.”

We stayed in junior suite on the top floor with the best view of the Independence Square. Very good breakfast selection. Minus that there is no safe and hair dryer in the room.

“Fabulous location”

Hotel Ukraine is located in the center of Kiev, just behind Independence Plaza. The rooms are big and clean, but the internet service is quite slow (when it works) and the beds are small. The breakfast is sufficient and the food is not bad.

“Very old hotel but well kept.”

This hotel shows its age. The floors creak and the decor looks out of the 1930s but it is kept clean and the service is all you can ask for. If im ever back in Kiev i will stay there again. It is right in the center of the city overlooking a public square and monuments. They have a tour desk, bar and resturaunt. The resturaunt was a bit expensive and boring though and its better to take a 10 minute walk to a resturaunt outside the hotel. If you expect luxury this probably isnt for you but i was just after safe, affordable clean accomodation that is close to everything

In the center of city and that s good , but no other good things on it .

The hotel is situated right in the centre of the capital, the main square. I had a deluxe room which had a good double size bed at better price than most of Europeans Hotel! Very close, short distance to most or all the necessary tourist spots. Eating out is pretty cheap too, where there are self catering with reasonably quite good food from 10am to 10pm, cooking all day long. Nightlife is good too but that depends on personal view. Currency is not too bad as 10 Grivias is roughly 1 €. Anyway, with all this I can't wait to go back.

“The Ukraine Hotel is Great!”

This hotel is in a great location, has an amazing view, the rooms are great, I liked everything about this hotel! The staff go the extra mile to take care of you.

“Location, location, location”

Possibly the best location in Kiev!!! Clean, comfortable rooms,modern, looks like rooms where recently renovated, stuff us very friendly and helpfull to foreign tourist.

“Great location”

The Ukraine is probably the best located in Kiev. It is an old hotel but has been well renovated. The room was comfortable and clean, and we found the staff friendly and helpful. Access to the Metro is easy and makes getting around simple. Being on the main square next to the city centre was great. We liked it although people who prefer branded hotels may find it old-fashioned.

“central & functional”

not going to win any awards for style, service or food but as a functional hotel right in the middle of the city it makes a really good base - overlooks independence square, 2 metro stops either side & most sights walkable from hotel. The design (& to some extent the service) provides a reminder of a soviet past amongst the burgeoning western chains.
