The staff was professional and always helpful, I especially liked Elena. The restaurant, The Chateau, was excellent. One of the best in Kharkov. I enjoyed the location of the hotel the best. There is a medical clinic 20 meters from the hotel to secure a COVID PCR test to fly back to the USA (very convenient).

Best in Kharkiv
Gostiny Dvor is the best hotel in Kharkiv. I stayed there for 5 days and it was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. If you are coming to Kharkiv, give this place a try.

Cute hotel but lack of service and cleanliness.
Not very clean room. Dusty. Stains on bed linnen. Reception asked me to pay extra to have this changed. Lack of service. Overall cute hotel.

Cute boutique hotel with fantastic wine list
Fantastic hotel with an amazing restaurant attached. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was perfect. Right in the center. Food for breakfast is delicious. I had dinner one night top notch wine list and cuisine. Very cute hotel. One small drawback is you have a shower instead of bathtub with shower.

This has to be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in!!! The staff was outstanding! Best restaurant with the kindest and most professional waiters and waitresses I have ever met! You have to stay at this hotel in Kharkov! Perfect location!

In the city so no real need for use of taxi's, everything in walking distance. If you have a rental, carpark is small, 3 spaces so if your not back early from doing your tourist duties you may have to park on the street. I could hear people talking in the next room, not clearly but enough to be annoying when your trying to go to sleep. Restaurant was fantastic.

Gostinii Dvor - AWESOME!
Wanted a place to stay in heart of city close to everything. This is the second year in a row i've stayed at Gostinii Dvor and will not stay anywhere else when i visit Kharkiv. They staff is BEST in the business and the breakfast that is included is top notch/delicious!@

Friendly Hotel
The hotel is located in a central place and ideal base for exploring the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the receptionist Alexandra who helped with us contact our airline after they cancelled flight home.

Location is spectacular the restuarant even better
The hotel is over-priced for Kharkiv. Given the disparity of ages of many of the other couples it might be for an open-door mentality. The restuarant associated with the hotel is fabulous. That is where your breakfast is provided (4 courses). My room was over the entrance to the hotel and noise and smoke poured in if I opened the window, which I like to do. The room was small, extremely clean and the staff was warm and eager to help at every turn. I booked a suite but could touch both walls at the same time in the sitting area and it was tight walking around the bed. Having seen in the other rooms when the cleaning staff was busy, I don't think there is much range in the rooms from regular to junior and full suite. I had to book the suite as it was the only room available. The internet is good and stable. The bed was very comfortable.

I had a great stay at the Gostiny Dvor! All the staff gave every effort to make my stay very comfortable and the restaurant was excellent! I have stayed here twice before and I will definitely be looking to return on my next trip to Kharkov!

Nice hotel in quite area.
Nice hotel in the Centre of the city, closed to ballet, shopping street, cafes, restaurant, walking distance to subway station. Delicious breakfast and polite staff. We will definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel staff were always available for any help required. They helped arrange a taxi for transportation to the airport which was waiting for me at 5am.

A Pearl in the Centre of Kharkiv
This is a really beautiful hotel, one of the best I have ever stayed in. It was lovely and comfortable and I very much enjoyed my stay. The staff were excellent, especially the receptionist who was one of the most helpful people I have met. Her assistance made everything easy for me and I would highly recommend a trip to Kharkiv and a stay at Gostniy Dvor.

Gostinii vs. Aurora
Hotel is very nice. It is a small hotel and attached to a nice restaurant. I stayed her 4 nights and then 5 nights at the Aurora Premier, which is a few blocks away. For me I like the Aurora better. Gostinii has a nice but limited menu for breakfast. The rooms at the Aurora are much bigger and the Aurora has a small exercise room.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was in a very good location very central to many interesting attractions and the staff were very friendly and helpful and all spoke English which was very helpful! I am planning another trip soon to Kharkov and will be very happy to come back to the Gostini Dvor!

Central Kharkov Hotel
I stayed in the hotel for 8 nights, initially I booked for 5 nights but I was so impressed I stayed another 3 nights! The hotel has only approximately 12 rooms, so it can be best described as a boutique hotel. The rooms are very comfortable, I stayed initially in the standard room then in a suite, of course the suite was much bigger with separate sitting room and desk, but both accommodations were very good. The service from all the staff is excellent, helpful and friendly, the front desk speaking very good English. Another big advantage of this hotel is its restaurant, The Chato, which has to be one of Kharkov's better restaurants, it has a French influence but the choice of menu is excellent. Again like the hotel the service is excellent. I have stayed in numerous hotels in Kharkov, this for me is by far the best I have experienced. The location of the hotel is next to the Kharkov Opera House and within 5 minutes walking distance of the Musem Metro station.

Very nice hotel near the city center
It is a very small hotel and if you get used to Hilton or Marriott or Intercontinental chains - this is not for you. Room is really small by US standards but probably is OK by European. And because it is a small hotel - there is no elevator between the floors and if you have heavy luggage - you may very well would carry it up to your room by yourself. I have not seen any male staff during our stay. Front desk, houskeeping and restaurant staff are very friendly and willing to help as soon as you ask for it ( well, my wife and I both speak Russian and Ukrainian also - so, it was easier to communicate whatever we may needed). Overall, my wife and I are very pleased with our stay.

Small hotel. very nice furnished. good location. Its hidden from main street and the access is a bit dreadful but very nice inside. Staff is very courteous. Doors have regular keys, not key cards.

The hotel is great and what made my stay so enjoyable were the staff. They went out of their way to make me feel at home especially knowing that i was away from my family over easter. The food was fantastic and its close to all major ammenities in the city.

That's what I'm Talking About!
First of all Kharkov is many years older than any of the cities in the US. Thus old buildings, and old streets, many sidewalks around the town in disrepair are common. However, the Hotel Gostini Dvor was outstanding. The help, from the people behind the desk to the maids and the restaurant help were all delightful. They had English speaking help behind the front desk so that was very helpful. They were all excellent and the hotel rooms, though simple were very nice, modern and clean. It was a wonderful experience.

I found this hotel in the heart of Kharkov to be exceptionally nice, clean and tidy, it boasts only 10 rooms currently and all are with full convienances including free wifi. The breakfast was not the typical continental or English but a mixture of both, catering for vegans and veggies, i found the staff excellent and attentitve, the food was French cuisine based and plenty of fish, very skeptical about eating sea fish so far in land, but the oysters were good. Other dishes were equally excellent and would my local friend even commented after 3 sittings that this was the best restaurant in kharkov. This hotel is centrally located and with in easy walking distance to many attractions, the national theatre is just literally over the road, only 20 minutes to the airport. The Metro is nearby with easy access to the rest of the city.

My home away from home
This hotel is great. The staff is helpful and kind. The room was excellent and the restaurant " Chato" was fantastic. I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be near center of city. It is just a short walk to Freedom Square, Shevchenko Park, and shops on Sumskaya Str. I stayed here 8 days and loved it.
