“5 Star experience, idyllic setting, amazing experience.”
Everything about the Lake Hotel made our journey worthwhile. The setting is idyllic with the view from the balcony transfixing. We could stand and watch the sun rise over the mountains, reflected in the lake in which the red deer were bathing. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the service top drawer and the quality of food exceptional. Everything about this hotel was spotlessly clean, an amazing achievement given the hotel's age. The atmosphere was relaxing and unhurried. This is the first hotel we have ever stayed in where we have decided to definitely return at some point. I cannot speak highly enough of our experience, worth every penny.
“Wonderful location”
although this hotel was a bit pricey, it is worth the extra due to its beautiful location. I got up in the night and there were red deer right outside my bedroom window! Lovely room and very good service.
“Magical Hotel”
The Hotel was very welcoming, the room was luxurious and the staff very nice and helpful. Set in the National Park, Deers come close to the Hotel at night through the lake to feed at night. A great place to visit Kerry & Killarney.
“Its all about the veiw”
The view from the room was amazing and made our holiday
“Would love to return one day”
A large, comfortable room in a hotel that is set in its own grounds overlooking the lake. Excellent location for walks, touring, or for just chilling out in the hotel, which has ample space, including a library, a large bar and restaurant. Very restful and relaxing. I particularly liked the log fires, which gave an additional homely quality.
“Definately return”
The Lake hotel is truly lovely and set in a beautiful location - we awoke to a magnificent view of the lake with deer roaming infront of our window. It has an olde worlde charm, spotlessly clean spacious room and the breakfast is highly recommended. If you are celebrating a special occasion then you wont go wrong here. It is near to Killarney town and all the local scenery, great food, great pubs and lovely people. 10/10 from us.
“Hotel with terrific setting”
The view from the room was uplifting and beautiful, castle ruins, lakes, mountains and wildlife. That alone would be worth the stay. But room and hotel were comfortable with a nice old-world charm, despite the modernish look from the outside. Staff were friendly and very helpful. An ideal base to explore the wonders of Kerry.
“Large complex beautiful setting”
Our room overlooked the most spectacular beautiful lake, peaceful. Good room, and large well appointed bathroom, comfortable. Our 5 night stay would have been improved if we could have eaten there for 5 evenings, but service so slow, and disorganised. They had a function at the weekend, possibly the reason. We went out to Killarney, wonderful restaurants, enjoyed these.
