The room and general facilities were very good but the food was hit and miss. We ate at the Pavilion restaurant and to be honest the food and service was nothing special. The buffet breakfast was disappointing whereas the cooked breakfast was superb and one of the best I've had. Overall the room was clean and well provided for but there were stains on the carpet and one of the taps was broken. So overall good housekeeping but in need of some updating.

Arrived on Sunday 10th August, to a very warm and friendly welcome from Reception. Our room was wonderful 107; they are gradually refurbishing this establishment and we were lucky enough to have one of these refurb. rooms. Decorated stylishly in Gold and Turquoise, beautiful 4 poster bed, comfortable easy chairs and table to sit and read, by the window enjoying a sea view.Gorgeous walk in shower en suite, large overhead shower head, with jets to the body as well which could be turned off if chosen to.Comfortable clean and cosy.
We enjoyed our one night stay very much. Perfect base for a family. Free parking, nice childrens play area and delicious pizzas!
Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was very well done. Would definatley recommend and stay again.
We have stayed in this hotel about 10 times and it never disappoints. Excellent value for money bearing in mind that it's only 2 miles from the town. Price included full English breakfast plus full use of the gym, pool etc. There's a really nice river side walk to maidstone which takes about 30-40 minutes.
"Lovely hotel close to wedding venue (The Orangery)"
We only had one night at this hotel which was a shame as it was a lovely place and plenty of facilities. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and very quiet. Staff at reception were friendly and efficient. We would highly recommend it to others for a stay in the area and for them to spend a couple of nights!
we were arriving under very sad circumstance, the imminent passing of my Dad. The staff were incredibly helpful, nothing was too much trouble. we were originally staying just the one night, which turned into three, even though they were fully booked. they moved heaven and earth for us to make our stay less stressful. I cant recommend them highly enough.

Family in Rochester, wanted to stay close but not under their feet, 3 of us (one nearly 90 years old) found everything we needed at Bridgewood Manor - no stairs to reach our rooms, good breakfast buffet, friendly staff, and the swimming pool was the icing on the cake.
