average hotel with no free wifi in the room

Hotel is clean and the room we got was spacious. Room carpet need replacement. There is no free wifi in the room only in the Lobby. to get wifi to room, you have to pay extra, the breakfast is £10 per head but it has average options and not worth for £10 The carpet in the room needs to be replaced. washroom and room are very clean.

Nice, comfortable hotel

The hotel was nice and comfortable. Staff were nice, but could have been better if they were a bit more knowledge about their on facilities. We wanted a pack of cards to play with whilst having a few drinks. I asked the receptionists and the bar staff but they all said they didn't have any. When we asked the one of the restaurant staff (very happy, jokey chap) he knew that there were cards in the vending machine! Rooms were clean and breakfast food was nice.

Nice hotel at entrance to Dartford Tunnel

Pros: Excellent room and meals were very good
An excellent welcome on arrival and a free upgrade to an executive suite started the one night stay off well. The room was excellent with two comfy double beds, a good bathroom and a free bottle of wine. Breakfast and dinner were both good value for money. I doubt I will have to go to Dartford again, but, if I do, we would definitely stay here again.

Nice Hotel

Pros: The staff greeting us were excellent as were all the staff that we come across through our stay.
Cons: offer free wifi throughout hotel inclusive of stay.
Lovely hotel and room with great facilities to enjoy. Had a great nights sleep in a very comfy bed. Breakfast buffet was very nice as were all the staffwe encountered.

Over priced , staff rude and couldn't be asked ...

Firstly the overpriced hotel is not worth the money .. The staff on checkin was rude and couldn't find the booking . The room had peanuts on the carpet I wanted a cold bottle of water , the waiter said no .... Take it or leave it attitude .. No ice offered It amazes me how this 4 star hotel keeps its stars ,,, Never going back !!

Business trip

I arrived at the hotel at 10-30pm only to be told that they had overbooked and there was no room available for me. I was offered a room either at a local much lower grade hotel or an equivalent grade hotel ten miles away. When I pointed out that I had book this hotel because of its location due to the arrival time and where I was working, they pointed out that it was very common for hotels to overbook rooms. I have been working away on business for over a decade and have NEVER arrived to be told that there were no rooms! The after service and how I was treated on my second night was excellent, however I would certainly NOT recommend this hotel for business people.

The indoor facilities of gym and swimming makes Hilton a family suitable accommodation. The hotel staff provided lots of ovation in a very friendly manner.l will definitely recommend and personal look forward for another stay.

Great stay

Only stayed for one night but used the facilities on site including gym & pool which were in good condition. Also stayed for breakfast which I thought was outstanding always topping up with hot breakfast. Overall I can't complain

Useful hotel if travelling between Kent and London

4*? ..... I don't think so.............

Pros: Situation, quietness.
Cons: Restaurant, parking fee, staff sincerity, décor, attention to detail
Good position, next to M25 - Very quiet in room due to good insulation. All staff very welcoming but felt somewhat false as though they were reading from a script. Check in was quite quick and easy. Room reasonably clean and a good size but décor has certainly seen better days. Walls scuffed and a little grubby. Bath badly chipped. Shower constantly varied between very hot and very cold - impossible to keep an even temperature. Towels and bathrobes had very rough texture - a bit of fabric softener in washing wouldn't go amiss. Dinner in Seasons restaurant very dissapointing. Service okay but quality and choice of food on supposedly 'a la carte' menu left a lot to be desired for this level of hotel. Presentation of food was poor and cooking ability of chef not what you would expect at these prices. eg: skin on fish very soggy and slimy, vegetables over cooked. Ordered white wine that arrived warm - at £28 per bottle I would at least expect it to be cold. If no cold bottle of my choice available at least offer an alternative this is cold! Whilst waiting for our meals two other tables close to us had wrong orders and/or issues with their food. Restaurant appeared no better than a roadside café. £4.00 cost to park when paying this amount for a room is a joke, especially when car park was almost empty and security barriers on the exit left up all night - so certainly wasn't paying to make sure my car was still there in the morning!
