Short stay with our two kids sharing a room

Was quiet despite the location, double glazing very effective. Room was big, we shared two queen beds, worked fine. Breakfast and WiFi both NOT included and are quite expensive, but can get elelsewhere.

Excellent hotel for a stop off

The room was very good or only slight issue is that we booked a room for 2 adults and an infant and only got one king sized bed. This was not an issue for us as our toddler would probably have bedded down with us anyway. I'm sure the hotel would have provided a cot is we needed as the staff were very obliging. Excellent breakfast as well. Very big buffet selection.

Did what I needed

Hotel was clean and room was modern although air con was very old and didn't work , bar staff were the slowest iv ever come across , asked for champagne at breakfast finished my breakfast before they brought it over said we would have it in the room and took them a further 30 mins to bring it up

Not what you would expect from the Hilton

Pros: Buffet Breakfast.
Cons: Needs decorating/upgrading/modernisation desperately. Staff more worried about charging you for everything than being helpful.
Location: Bluewater shopping centre or cross the river to Lakeside and Essex. Can drive down the A2 to the cost in around 40 minutes.
Tried to charge my parents for car parking when they didn't have a car. Room hot and no A/C. Fan too ages to work, hence they didn't get a good nights sleep. Rooms and general corridors in desperate need of modernisation. Also tried to charge me for car parking as I was 5 minutes over the free hour. Turns out their clock in reception was 15 minutes fast (sounds like a scam), not what you would expect from the Hilton. Careful of the hidden charges. Breakfast is great but this was the only saving grace. They will be staying at the Holiday Inn Express next time they visit.

average hotel with no free wifi in the room

Hotel is clean and the room we got was spacious. Room carpet need replacement. There is no free wifi in the room only in the Lobby. to get wifi to room, you have to pay extra, the breakfast is £10 per head but it has average options and not worth for £10 The carpet in the room needs to be replaced. washroom and room are very clean.

Nice, comfortable hotel

The hotel was nice and comfortable. Staff were nice, but could have been better if they were a bit more knowledge about their on facilities. We wanted a pack of cards to play with whilst having a few drinks. I asked the receptionists and the bar staff but they all said they didn't have any. When we asked the one of the restaurant staff (very happy, jokey chap) he knew that there were cards in the vending machine! Rooms were clean and breakfast food was nice.

Nice hotel at entrance to Dartford Tunnel

Pros: Excellent room and meals were very good
An excellent welcome on arrival and a free upgrade to an executive suite started the one night stay off well. The room was excellent with two comfy double beds, a good bathroom and a free bottle of wine. Breakfast and dinner were both good value for money. I doubt I will have to go to Dartford again, but, if I do, we would definitely stay here again.

Nice Hotel

Pros: The staff greeting us were excellent as were all the staff that we come across through our stay.
Cons: offer free wifi throughout hotel inclusive of stay.
Lovely hotel and room with great facilities to enjoy. Had a great nights sleep in a very comfy bed. Breakfast buffet was very nice as were all the staffwe encountered.

Over priced , staff rude and couldn't be asked ...

Firstly the overpriced hotel is not worth the money .. The staff on checkin was rude and couldn't find the booking . The room had peanuts on the carpet I wanted a cold bottle of water , the waiter said no .... Take it or leave it attitude .. No ice offered It amazes me how this 4 star hotel keeps its stars ,,, Never going back !!

Business trip

I arrived at the hotel at 10-30pm only to be told that they had overbooked and there was no room available for me. I was offered a room either at a local much lower grade hotel or an equivalent grade hotel ten miles away. When I pointed out that I had book this hotel because of its location due to the arrival time and where I was working, they pointed out that it was very common for hotels to overbook rooms. I have been working away on business for over a decade and have NEVER arrived to be told that there were no rooms! The after service and how I was treated on my second night was excellent, however I would certainly NOT recommend this hotel for business people.
