The room and general facilities were very good but the food was hit and miss. We ate at the Pavilion restaurant and to be honest the food and service was nothing special. The buffet breakfast was disappointing whereas the cooked breakfast was superb and one of the best I've had. Overall the room was clean and well provided for but there were stains on the carpet and one of the taps was broken. So overall good housekeeping but in need of some updating.

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel from Friday to Sunday. Hotel clean and well furnished. The full English Breakfast was the best I have ever had. Cooked perfectly. The staff were all very pleasant. I would definitely stay there again.
"Lovely hotel close to wedding venue (The Orangery)"
We only had one night at this hotel which was a shame as it was a lovely place and plenty of facilities. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and very quiet. Staff at reception were friendly and efficient. We would highly recommend it to others for a stay in the area and for them to spend a couple of nights!
The accommodation is a modern annex to the golf club, close to the 18th green. Check in in the main building was quick and efficient, but I did not need to bring the luggage in because the rooms are in a separate block a few hundred metres away. The twin room was cosy, but everything we needed was fitted in including tea making facilities. Modern, clean and functional.
We had an evening meal in the bar, which was basic pub food but nicely presented.
The location makes it really quiet, with only the croaking of the frogs to lull you to sleep.
Back in the clubhouse for breakfast, which was a well stocked buffet that was kept replenished.
The room was very good or only slight issue is that we booked a room for 2 adults and an infant and only got one king sized bed. This was not an issue for us as our toddler would probably have bedded down with us anyway. I'm sure the hotel would have provided a cot is we needed as the staff were very obliging.
Excellent breakfast as well. Very big buffet selection.
