Very lovely stay, wish I was there for longer!

I would definitely stay here again. Gary was a superb host, the house is far nicer than any other guest house I have been to and felt very much like a home. Breakfast was fantastic, so much choice. Thanks Gary, will be seeing you again.

good location for ferry early morning.

Posted 03-Aug-2014
Pros: location
Location: only stayed for one night but we did visit the white cliffs of dover
great location for the ferry in a quiet area of dover. close to local pub offering good food. the room and shower were very clean and the bed very comfy. didn't have breakfast because of early ferry but the hotel provided a packed breakfast bag which contained a good variety of food and drinks. I would recommend this hotel.

Handy location

Our host Gary was polite, friendly and attentive. The room was just what we needed, and the ensuite shower was perfect. We left before we could sample his well-reviewed breakfast, but he provided us with breakfast bags that kept usgoing well into Belgium. All in all, it was easy to find, good parking and just the job after driving 141 miles and before catching the ferry to drive another 300.

Great little B&B. Very friendly staff, good comfortable room. Room had a great view and so does the dinning room. Had a lovely freshly prepared breakfast whilst looking out over the valley behind the hotel.

Lovely B and B

Very comfy bed in a decent size room with great shower facilities. Was a little further out from the town centre than I thought but it was fine. Plenty of parking available at the front. Gary was a great Host and cooked a mean breakfast. The heating made a bit of a noise when it kicked in the morning but apart from that no issues.

Good overnight B&B

Posted 03-Dec-2013
The B&B is friendly, comfortable and provides a good breakfast. Only word of warning - be careful about directions to get there. My satnav took me somewhere else using postcode and even using the address was no better. A phone call to the owner quickly solved the problem.

It might not be the Ritz, but it is clean and comfortable, and the service is excellent.

Full English!

Posted 10-Aug-2013
Pros: Homely feel, beautiful interior, amenities, breakfast!
Cons: Walking to the bathroom (but hardly earth shattering - my dream of meeting Kate Beckinsale on the landing didn't transpire sadly!)
Location: Ideal. Busy-ish road but never intrusive. 5 minutes from the town/port or motorway. Lovely house.
Gary did what a true host should, be attentive but not intrusive, be passionate about his business and above all provide a 'home from home' service to his guests. It was the subtle touches like observing a gluten free diet that sealed it for me. I will be back when next in the UK. Thank you.

Gorgeous home, genial host, highly recommended

Wow! Gary made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived at his beautiful B&B on a main road near Dover, UK. As he will warn you, there are two Crabble Hill houses on the GPS. If the first isn't right keep going up the road til you get to the next one! The house is beautiful with stained glass windows, lovely furniture, large rooms, comfy beds, good internet signal. Breakfast included all the traditional English foods you could want plus many North American options. Gary provided some input into our next day travel plans (Rye was beautiful, thanks!) and if I hadn't sprained my ankle that day, Gary would have provided us with directions to an English pub nearby for dinner (I will have to do that next time). Very fond memories of this immaculate hotel with a lovely back garden we could view form our window. Very quiet and serene. Highly recommended!
