A Good Stay

Posted 25-Nov-2014
Pros: Clean, modern, finished
Cons: I left my phone chargers in the room on checkout. They were not returned
Location: Close to the centre of town and right on the shore line. A walkable distance to the castle but too far to walk to the cliffs.
A good hotel with good value for money. Everything you could need.

Nice place to stop.

Posted 31-Oct-2014
Pros: Location & accommodating friendly staff.
Location: Across from the beach & harbor & mere blocks to the heart of downtown Dover. I loved this location~!
This hotel is a perfect location to enjoy the best of Dover. Highly recommended for that reason alone.

Close to ferry port

Posted 20-Oct-2014
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: Yes need to put air conditioning in and spend some money and do repairs that need done
Location: Sea in front of hotel and ferry port 5 mins away
Room was hot, the fan that was in the room was broken so was the shower rail and the telly was fixed to the wall at an angle the beds were old and very uncomfortable the bathroom was old and some areas of it were dirty I cleaned it before we use it overall a terrible room. Plus point the staff were really nice and helpful.

Windows overlooking the water

Posted 11-Oct-2014
Lovely period hotel with all the amenities...right on the waterfront. No complaints except fourth floor windows require some attention to eliminate whining wind noise and drafts. Did not eat in the hotel but prices and selection appeared reasonable.

Terrible service

Posted 16-Sep-2014 on Hotels.com
Old hotel with a charm, sitting overlooking the sea, watching the elderly arrive for dinner , all smart has a certain charm but sadly there it ends. Room overpriced, no airCon, tiny and hopeless shower with low pressure. Staff did minimum - poor welcome , and arriving 5 mins late for breakfast attitude from a manager was simply rude. Real shame, being polite, professional and courteous is free and what this hotel lacked in bucketfuls. Takes very little to please me , but this hotel really left me feeling disappointed and wishing I had spent my money elsewhere.

Bra läge

Posted 06-Sep-2014 on Hotels.com
Hotellet har ett utmärkt läge med utsikt mot Engelska kanalen och med White Cliffs nära. Bara fem minuter in till centala Dover som i sig inte var någon superupplevelse. Lätt att parkera utanför på gatan.
