Arrived earlier than planned but room was ready and we had quick access.
Situated in large grounds with good outdoor sitting experiences.
Was close to Canterbury City Centre and were provided with a City Centre map by staff.

This is a marvelous place, and I highly recommend. Enjoyed the house, breakfasts, host and hostess, the area, etc. Hope to return on another visit. And many thanks for the recommendations for dinner sites and for suggestions on itinerary additions.

On our wedding anniversary we stayed in the lovely cottage by the main house, and had our own private garden. Thoughtful and very welcoming owners supplied milk, apples and cake. The best was the bed - the most comfortable we ever slept in! Breakfast in the main house was good too. Definitely planning on a return visit.
We were met with a great welcome and very well looked after during our one night stay. The owners are really nice people, they gave us good advice regarding restaurants and sightseeing and they booked the taxi to take us to the cruise ship terminal. Our room was lovely with sea view. We slept well and enjoyed our breakfasts. The breakfast was served in an ocean view room and was very tastefully set, and quite delicious There is no elevator, but Robert, the Manager, helped us with our luggage. The whole hotel has wonderful character and charm, and I would definitely recommend it.
I was attending a course nearby in Rochester for the week. My partner booked my accommodation as the ones I was looking at were absolutely awful. I arrived the Sunday night pleasantly surprised. A nice traditional pub with rooms. Being a non local, I was still made to feel very comfortable. The landlord promised me a lovely breakfast in the morning, he was not lying!
The room was very quirky - in a very good way. The staff were lovely and attentive. The breakfast was superb. The surroundings of the village - pretty, interesting and a great church. Sissinghurst gardens only a 10 minute drive. I would recommend.
On arrival immediatley made to feel welcome by the staff who were all friendly and helpful for the length of our stay, we were allowed to settle and get a drink or two before being shown to our room. The room was small but clean and enough for two people, lovely clean bathroom and good working shower. They had kindly reserved a table for us to eat for the evening which they do for all guests so no worries about food. The food itself was by and large locally sourced and was very good ( have been to plenty of inns in the past and this was at the top as far as taste concerned, enough to thank the chef). Had a very enjoyable evening itself in the bar good ales and the locals were very welcoming, enough to be one of the last to leave. Sleep wise both had a good nights sleep, maybe one or two noises through the night (fans or air conditioning) but nothing to spoil your slumber. Breakfast in the morning was good and plentiful and no rush to pay your bill or leave, all very relaxed. So overall I would recommend a visit to a lovely kentish village and a wonderful Inn (we both shall return again).
Lovely and characterful B&B within an easy walk of Tunbridge Wells town centre. Rooms beautifully decorated in high Victorian style, the Morris room particularly recommended for admirers of the Arts and Crafts movement. Tea and cake on arrival, excellent breakfast and a very hospitable host.
