The room we had - a family room - was fairly clean and comfortable. It was a little cramped (cramming two doubles and a cot didn't leave much room for manoeuvre). The bathroom is a little dated, and in need of modernising. Overall though - a pretty decent hotel.
Breakfast was good, although they had a lack of decent sized pastries, and some weird CHEWY hash browns... Not sure how you can make hash browns chewy... :( Other than that - quite good.
We arrived late and were staying for 2 nights whilst attending an important horse show. Reception staff were very helpful and the room was very clean and well appointed apart from the absence of a hair drier and a waste bin. Our rooms were in a building set well back from the main road so we heard no traffic noises. There was a sign in the car park saying that a fee for parking would be made but when I expressed surprise the manager waived the charge.

We had two rooms nr 3 & 7, both well appointed and ensuites had recently been refurbished. Comfortable beds and good range of teas in rooms.
Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and hot, enjoyed fruits and yoghurt whilst hot food was being prepared.
The stately ruins of Kenilworth Castle are king in this Warwickshire town. Building began in the 12th century, and the castle boasted a lively history until it was partially destroyed during the English Civil War. The Two Castle Run, a 10 kilometer fun run between Warwick Castle and Kenilworth Castle, is held each June.
