We loved our 8 night stay at Sunrise Inn, and it’s relaxed atmosphere. The pool was great, our apartment was cleaned every day with fresh towels and the owner was friendly and helpful. The area was quiet, but walkable the the beautiful Pessada beach.

This property is let down by its desperate need for renovation, the room we had was tired and the bathroom was a mismatched hodgepodge affair. There was a jacuzzi bath that functioned purely as a shower tray, it had no taps to fill it, no plug to retain water, and no controls for the bubbles. The "shower" was a hand held head connected to where the tap should be. Having said that the staff were polite and helpful, the food was lovely, and the pool area brilliant. We enjoyed our stay but we're expecting more.

Lovely hotel - great value for money
Really lovely place at a very reasonable price. Not the most modern but rooms are spacious with air con and a little balcony - and it’s totally blackout at night because of the shutters. Gardens are pretty with a good pool area and free parking. Loads of breakfast options to pick from (love a cheese toastie in the morning!) and staff are so friendly and helpful.

An amazing gem of a hotel a
The hotel is beautiful and secluded! The staff couldn’t help us enough! We only stayed for one night but will definitely consider staying for longer next time as the staff were so welcoming and nice!

The properry location is in Pessada village so very far from all the attractions of the island ( except 1 beach walking distance) so unless you plan on renting a car you will be staying at the hotel all the time. The staff is very friendly except the cleaning ladies they were rude when we gave them comments on stuff they forgot to do (like arranging the bed properly or the bathroom proper cleaning). The hotel owner and Dany were very helpful.

Property is good owner and staffs are excellent, room clean location is not bad, there is special beach next to the hotel, but the breakfast not pleasant, they need to make it continental. Thats all

The hotel is at a great location, fantastic views and friendly staff. The services are good and the restaurant offers a fair choice of meals. There is a swimming pool and a well maintained garden around the property. The hotel is close to Pesada port or those who wish to take a day trip to Zante. In general this is a good place to use as a vantage point if you want to get to know Kefalonia.

Small friendly hotel in unspoilt location
We had a very spacious, air-conditioned 2 bedroom apartment, on a self-catering basis, within the hotel, with full use of pool, garden, bars, etc. We had breakfast at the hotel a few times (paying EUR 5.00 a head for the buffet style breakfast, which was fine) and we had dinner there once too. The pool area is fun and relaxed. The staff friendly and helpful. Our apartment was cleaned and towels changed daily. They even did our laundry for us. The only down sides were that the apartment wasn't brilliantly stocked with cutlery, we had to ask for a sharp knife for chopping vegetables, and there weren't enough larger bowls and plates. No coffee maker either, and a very small kettle. Lovely hot water always available in the bathroom, but the hot water in the kitchen didn't work. But these were small issues. We generally very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Sunrise Inn Hotel to others. Great for a family with kids. You do need a hire car - lots to see on this beautiful island.

Really relaxing stay
A very relaxing break on a beautiful island, hotel staff were lovely, rooms spotless. Definitely need a car as beach and tavernas/supermarket at least 20/30 minutes walk away...and in that heat....

Great views, great pool, great staff
Fantastic stay at this family run hotel. Relaxed atmosphere, perfect for our all too short stay on beautiful Kefalonia. Very close to a perfect unspoilt beach, with the best snorkelling we found on the whole island. Close enough to Argostoli to easily enjoy restaurants and facilities available there (don't miss Seakayakingkefalonia). The Sunrise Inn has a charm all of its own. Breakfast was good and evening meals even better. Rooms were spotlessly cleaned, everyday if required- with excellent air con. We will definitely return.

It was slightly pre-season and the hotel was not ready for guests. The beds were clean, but there were dead bugs on the floor and in the bathroom sink. In the evening when we arrived there was not hot water. We asked the next day, and they got the hot water going, but the next late evening when we came back, there was no hot water again. The picture of the hotel showed a nice pool, but there was no water in the pool when we were there. There was no clicker for the airconditioning or TV (not that we needed it, but the controls we not in the room).

Die Einrichtung der Unterkunft ist schon etwas veraltet. Es war zwar alles relativ sauber. Aber im Badezimmer z.b konnte das Fenster nicht geöffnet werden weil es kaputt war was dazu geführt hat dass es schon unangenehm gerochen hat. An den Fenstern waren keine fliegengitter und deswegen haben wir eine Nacht mit Mücken töten verbracht. Für den billardtisch musste man zahlen. Der Swimmingpool war in Ordnung aber die Einrichtung war auch dort sehr veraltet. Das Frühstück war okay es war für jeden was dabei. Das Personal war sehr sehr freundlich.

Hôtel pratique pour prendre un bateau à Pesada
Séjour d’une nuit pour prendre le bateau sur le port de Pesada le lendemain matin. Accueil un peu compliqué. Nous avions payé le petit déjeuner qu’il nous était impossible de prendre puisque nous avons quitté l’hôtel à 6h30 et que le service ouvrait à 7h00. Rien ne nous a été proposé comme un encas à emporter. L’hôtel est bruyant. Il y a eu beaucoup de portes claquées dans la nuit ainsi que des aboiements de chiens presque toute la nuit. Sinon l'hôtel est propre.

Una notte al sunrise
Ho soggiornato una notte presso questa struttura, la camera era abbastanza spaziosa con il letto comodo, pulizia nella norma e un bel balconcino con vista. Il bagno necessiterebbe di una rinfrescata. L'hotel si trova nei pressi di alcune belle spiagge ma per spostarsi è assolutamente necessario un mezzo. Non abbiamo usufruito della colazione che ho trovato un po' cara per i prezzi di Cefalonia.

Buon hotel nella zona sud dell’isola a solo 15 minuti dall’aeroporto. Struttura nuova ben pulita . Ampio parcheggio gratuito e piscina. Camera spaziosa pulita ben arredata . Il bagno era non molto curato , muro scrostato e la doccia con tendina non molto confortevole . Buona la colazione , non molto varia ma buona .

Unterkunft Ok aber ziemlich einsam gelegen. Offene Fenster in der Nacht nicht möglich, da viele Motoren einen Höllenlärm verursachen. Ausserdem ständiges Gebelle von Hunden. Kleiner Pool. Die Unterkunft ist Ok wenn man lediglich eine Nacht in der Nähe der Fähre nach Zakynthos benötigt oder Motorisiert da ist.

Great hotel, kind staff, close to ferry
This is a family run hotel, all of them very kind. We were given a very spacious room, with a huuuge balcony. The breakfast was great, with some cookies and cake just out of the oven, with that homemade flavour. We picked the hotel because of the proximity with the ferry to Zakynthos, but there are some beautiful blue/green clear water beaches close by. Also, as we informed the reception we had decided to take the late ferry (there's one in the morning 7h45am and one in the afternoon 6pm) they spontaneously let us stay in the room until 5pm. This hotel was a nice surprise in our trip. Better than expected.

posto tranquillo.persone gentili.ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo per menu giornaliero.bella zona vicino al mare.consiglierei sempre una macchina per poter girare l'isola senza problemi.wi-fi funzionante.letto confortevole anche se preferisco letto matrimoniale.bagno un po risicato in compenso abbiamo avuto una bella terrazza vista mare.

Все замечательно: территория зеленая и очень красивая. Обслуживание очень приветливое. Номера хорошо оборудованы. Единственный минус - то, что отель расположен далеко от пляжа, рядом нет ни кафе, ни магазинов. Обязательно нужна машина
