I recently had the pleasure of staying at a fantastic hotel that exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by friendly and welcoming staff who made me feel right at home. The location of the hotel couldn't have been better. Situated in a prime spot, it offered easy access to the attractions and amenities I wanted to explore during my stay. Whether it was the bustling city streets, serene parks, or trasport links, everything was conveniently within reach. As for the hotel itself, it was beautifully designed and maintained. The lobby exuded elegance and sophistication, setting a high standard for the rest of my stay. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with the staff ensuring that I had everything I needed. Upon entering my room, I was immediately struck by its cleanliness and attention to detail. The decor was tasteful, modern and inviting atmosphere. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep after a long day of exploring. One aspect that truly stood out was the hotel's commitment to granting my request for a balcony. It was such a delight to have my own private outdoor space where I could relax, enjoy a cup of coffee, and take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding area. Throughout my time at the hotel, the staff continued to impress me with their exceptional service, especially the lady in the spa services.

The hotel is centrally situated in the main square in Argostoli .The rooms are comfortable and well furnished .The staff are very helpful and pleasant .It does lack enough car parking space but it is easy to park at the port and walk .It is a great place to stay if you enjoy dining ,drinking or just people watching in the square .We would definitely stay there again

The Ionian Plaza is in a beautiful square and within walking distance of many good bars and restaurants in Argostoli. The staff are very helpful and the rooms and very comfortable. I had a great stay again.

Positive: - Amazing location in the heart of Argostoli - The room is brand new and very nice Negative: - Breakfast quality is very poor. Limited options but this is fine. However the quality is bad and this is not ok - Parking space is limited and you never find a spot. In addition my impression was that the parking was used by locals and not by hotel guests as it is open space and there is no control at allA

The worst hotel i stayed terrible service , they claim they have breakfast and they only offer muffins . The room smelled like smoking ,the pictures are not real the hotel is really old with no updates for years .Front desk is so rube . I would give one advice to anyone that reads this review please don’t stay there

Centrally located and near all the restaurants and shops. Even though your close to everything, you don’t hear noise from outside the room. Would recommend.

Nice room, friendly staff, efficient cleaning and excellent breakfasts. Lovely view from the balcony over the main town square. Herein lies the only downside: the square and its surrounding road have been largely re-paved and rendered traffic free. This has resulted in the main areas - particularly the square - resembling and sounding like an overcrowded school playground with young children playing and cycling at full volume well into late evenings. Hardly relaxing if you want to unwind.

Good choice
Good hotel with comfortable rooms, but choose a room overlooking the square and not at the end of the building to avoid music from street cafes. Very convenient for city sights and nightlife.

Hotel room very good comfortable and clean ,pillows on bed could have been a little larger and softer .breakfast good wide range of food to choose from. We thought there was a bar ,well there is but it is in the dinning room but staff always there to get drink of coffee or alcoholic which could be served outside or on the nice comfortable settees in the foyer area. There is a gym which looked good .The staff were very helpful and friendly .The hotel is in a large square which is very much a meeting point for locals and also has some very nice restaurants,the noise from the restaurants seem to die down about midnight but people may still be sitting talking in the square and that can go on later sometimes. The parking was nearby but you cannot drive into the square ,at the moment they are building an underground car park and more rooms directly behind the hotel ,sure this will be good as car park at moment small, although this was ok for us as we were there out of season .

We just wanted a reasonable hotel for an overnight stay. Our room at this hotel was large with good facilities at a decent rate. And the hotel's location right on the plaza was very convenient for exploring the city.

Weekend in Argostoli
We had a really good stay at this hotel, the room was comfortable, clean and in a really great location on the central square. It was January and the town was much quieter than we are used to but the visit was excellent. There is a small car park at the rear of the hotel with a barrier operated by the room card - very 21st Century! The breakfast was simple but very good, lots of variety and a very chilled atmosphere. We were able to use the computer and printer in the lobby to print our return boarding cards - very useful! We had the basic room which had a view over the square, I believe there are rooms with small balconies too.

Hotel is in a great location to visit Argostoli, although getting to it in a car is tricky because of the local roads. Room was fine but pigeons above the balcony caused a bit of mess. Staff were mostly indifferent, we asked 3 separate staff different questions about the hotel and the local area and they were unhelpful. The wifi requires a password that needs resetting every time you turn your device of or leave the hotel. So keep the code with you, it will not reconnect automatically. We had to ask for new codes after the first time, the staff didn't explain how it worked, and were on the point of being rude.

Great location.
We spent 14 nights here as our vacation Hotel and enjoyed every day of our stay.The location is superb being in Central Argostoli on the main Plaza.Secured parking for our hire car prevented careless damage. All the staff helpful and polite . Breakfast buffet continental style, plentiful and varied. Our room was very well appointed with excellent aircon and sound proofed doors leading onto a delightful small balcony overlooking the busy Plaza. Big thank you to the Manager and all the staff for making our vacation very memorable. Almost certain to rebook here on our next visit to this beautiful Island.

Great hotel, great location.
The hotel was in a great location as it was in the heart of the square in Argostoli. We were surrounded by lovely restaurants and bars and shops were a 5 minute walk away. The hotel staff were very helpful. Good breakfast each morning. Wonderful value for money.
