“Not impressed”
We booked over 9 days at the Hyatt for our honeymoon. Though the initial welcome was good at arrival, we were very dissapointed to find the phone not working in the room and there being no facilities to prepare a good cuppa. I had to trek all the way back to reception to get this sorted. Then in a couple of days the toilet got blocked with the result that the loo overflowed and there was faeces all over the bathroom floor. The manager was less than helpful and we had to wait for hours to get transferred to a different room. Room service was grossly overpriced with astronomical rates for basic items. The luau was a cheesy affair and a major dissapointment. Also being charged to use the sunbeds by the ocean felt quite mercenary and not in keeping with treating guests fairly. The positive was the excellent views from the hotel of the ocean.
