"It was a beautiful hotel and right on the beach."
Location was not brilliant as hotel was located next to a very busy road. Not many places near by as mostly closed due to the end of season or closed as they have gone bust. We were also disappointed with our second week as they changed the eating arrangements. Normally would have 2 restaurants to deal with both hotels, but in the second week, we all had to eat in one restaurant, which became very busy and noisy, so this did put us off. I also want to pay tribute to the bar staff who work so hard and are very professional and take pride in their job.

Excellent value, half-board at a price which usually only gets B&B. Pools excellent and hotel is right by a sandy and gentle beach. Staff were friendly and made an effort to help guests enjoy their stay. Meals were buffet and excellent quality with plenty of choice. The temptation was to eat too much. The animation (entertainment) team worked hard and seemed to enjoy what they were doing. We were the only British in the hotel and possibly the only Western Europeans as the other guests were from the Balkans, Central Europe or Russia. The staff were from Greece or the same countries and the languages used were English, Greek and Russian so it was a slightly surreal experience but the staff were very helpful.

My boyfriend and I started our Greece vacation here in Kallithea. We spent 2 lovely nights at Ammon Zeus. The ocean view and access to the beach were an amazing way to be introduced to a new country. The room was clean and the bathroom was very modern for a European bathroom. This area is meant for a relaxing getaway. If you want night life, head to Kassandria. Also, we went during the beginning of the summer season (late May), so not everything was open and some things closed early. But we enjoyed walking the little town filled with shops, restaurants, cafes, etc. and keeping to ourselves at the hotel. We spent most of our time at the beach under their tiki umbrellas and sipping drinks from the hotel bar.

The location of the hotel is excellent, with beautiful gardens and an Olympic pool before getting to the sand beach. In pre-season, as we were, the beach was not set up. There were companion hotels right next door, which were supposed to be available to us, but extra charges applied. The staff was very friendly in providing tourist information and driving directions. Overall, this was an excellent value.

This was a gorgeous property. Immaculate hotel with lots of style and charm. The rooms were spacious studio apartments with kitchenette and balcony with sea and garden view. The good sized bathroom had a marble countertop and a bathtub. Town restaurants and bars are a short (uphill) walk and the hotel neighborhood is very quiet. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating
In Halkidiki close to Thessaloniki, the peninsula of Kassandra features numerous villages and beaches. The Byzantine Watch Tower of Agios Pavlos or Mount Athos Monastery in Nea Phokea are notable attractions. The ruins of the Zeus temple in Kallithea or the temple of Poseidon in Posidi are a must for history fans. Wellness lovers enjoy the spa baths of Agia Paraskevi.
