For a relax, recharge and unwind hotel this is one of the best! The location is truly magnificent with stunning views and scenery. The quaint town is perfect for a leisurely walk and for dinning out with ample choices of restaurants to suit all pallets.
The marina area next to the hotel offers some lovely walking distance facilities and again adds to the tranquillity of the area.
I would definitely re-visit this one!
"Centrally located right in the centre of the town"
Everything was perfect for me. Fast check-in and fast check-out procedure with no real issues. Some misunderstanding about the room to start with, but no issues
I loved my room, the breakfast was good, but they did not have any fresh espresso - however, Turkish tea was free and included. Orange juice was extra. The coffee shop opposite did some amazing espressos, iced coffees and baklava with ice cream. I loved all the friendliness and welcoming nature of all the staff who always smiled and made you feel welcome. I would most definitely stay at the hotel again, as the decor, location and staff were very nice.
The only thing I did not like were some of the dogs who would continually bark at you or get aggressive as you walked by - these were pets I believe and many of the stray dogs and cats in the area were a lot more friendlier or non-aggressive. I am an animal lover, but some of these dogs tended to bark very often and growl at everyone or jump at people. I think guests that there would be better places to tie up the dogs where they do not bother the guests or people walking by. The hotel might not be suitable for older guests due to the stairs and noise from bars. I was up at 2am and sleep late, so it was not an issue for me. I also liked that you could hear the call to prayer from the room. I also liked that it was only a minute from the main square in the town. The staff even helped me with my bags to my transfer car - they were also helpful and are very hard-working.
We stayed in Kas for two nights and we were very happy with this hotel pick. Check in / out was quick and easy and the receptionist was very helpful. We upgraded to an ocean view for 10 euro and it was totally worth even though that meant walking up 6 flights of stairs. They have a lovely pool facing the sea with a bar. There is also a lounging area across the street where you can climb down by ladder to swim, which we did. Supposedly there is a "beach" close by but we never found it. In the afternoon a nice lady came by to say they were serving tea and brownies on the sea side terrace (which isn't complimentary) and that was lovely as well. The hotel is at the end of the hotel strip but still a quick 5 minute walk to the city centre. Kas is an adorable little seaside town, don't rush through it! We had an amazing dinner at Naturel where we ate the most delicious smoked eggplant, and we did one day of sea kayaking with Lukka tours (which I think is the sister company to Bougainville Travel and is located in their office) for 120 TL (approx 60 CND). We kayaked for 1.5 hours in the morning to the Sunken City then spent an hour and a half exploring the fortress on Kalekoy, swimming and had an amazing lunch. Then we kayaked back for an hour. Aqua Princess was the perfect place to relax midway through our Turkey trip.
Great little hotel, not many Brits staying here. quiet and relaxing. Private swimming sun lounging area withh steps into the sea. If you cant manage steps and hills then maybe not for you. Affordable good hotel with stunning location. 2.5 turkish lira bus ride to town from to of short steep hill.
Amazing location with breathtaking views. Hotel was a real hidden gem with lovely rooms and very attentive staff. Bar/restaurants prices much higher than in town which is the only bad thing about the hotel.
Located halfway between the two main regional airports, Kas has a more laid-back atmosphere than other resort towns on the Turkish Riviera. Built on top of the ancient Greek city of Antiphellos, whose ruins are still visible in places, this old fishing village offers plenty of charm. The Greek island of Megisti (Kastellorizo) sits directly opposite the harbor and makes a great day trip by ferry.
