“Good hotel”
Nice hotel
“Westin in Kansas City - great experience”
I couldn't get in to the hotel where our meeting was, so I was extremely pleased to find out I could walk to the hotel using the skybridge - very convenient. Also got a better deal by booking flight and hotel stay together. Recommend using that when you can
“westin kansas city”
security was awesome.
“Great Hotel, Well Worth a Stay”
Stayed here for a business trip. The staff was very accommodating and the rooms were excellent.
“Great location for Crown Center but beginning to look tired, needs a refurbishment.”
Staff always helpful with characteristic Midwest hospitality. Room cleaning needs a little more attention to detail with dust on air con outlets and room carpet not vacuumed each day. Overall this hotel is just right for my business needs and booking with Expedia saved me money even over our corporate rate. Bar in hotel is expensive as is food which is par for the course for Hotels but it's very easy at this hotel to find good value close by in Crown Center for food and drink. Westin need to get out the paint pot for this location especially in and around the lobby area which appears much the same as it has been since my first visit in 1984!!
“I would love to come back and if the convention is there next year, it will be my first pick!”
It was my first time for the Hallmark Convention and I will stay at the Westin again!
“Can't wait to go back.”
As part of the Hallmark Crown center the Westin is a great Hotel. Check out the fountains!
“good quality”
heavenly bed! nice fridge. should provide free internet in the room. should have free boarding pass service like the Hyatt. Pool is much nicer than the Hyatt
“Great Weekend!”
Booked this motel on orbitz for a great price! Didn't realize until we got there, that there was so much to do right at the motel! Could easily spend a day just shopping/eating/swimming/going to a play! They have some great stores, VS, B and B Works, home made chocolate, cinnamon rolls the size of your head! and some really great entertainment for kids... from toy shops where you couldn spend as little or as much as you wanted...great seletions, the hands on crayola factory, swimming or the water fountains (which is great for little ones) and live plays! Our teenager never got bored! and we had some much fun as a family! The only draw backs were the price of parking, and the price of wireless in your room. It was free in lobby, but inconvienent. Will definately go back to KC and will definatley stay here!
“Not Impressed”
Every service was an additional charge nothing was included as an amenity with your stay. Vehicle Parking $15 per day Internet Access $9.95 per day Cardio Equipment at the gym $5 per day The pool area has a beverage/bar area that no employee is schedule to work. You must call to place an order and they deliver your beverages. Not at all convenient with an additional service charge, two beverage for $25. The map of the hotel /parking ramp and shopping is no clear or helpful.
