“TELL THIS PLACE NEEDS TO INVEST!”

Wonderful location, fabulous service, WHAT HAPPENED TO THE HOTEL!? They are in one of the MAIN attractions of Kanas City and the hotels is lacking. I understand it is not a 4 star hotel but, that is no excuse for dirt! Clean your elevator, use clorox in your bathrooms and upgrade the bedding. Everything else is fine. It's amazing what comsmetic changes can do for the bottom line. Like having return guests. Which we will not be until we see "REMODLED"

“Basic but Excellant”

Perfect location with a reasonable price. Located right on the Plaza with everything in walking distance. We don,t spend much time in our room so we are just looking for the basics and this hotel filled the bill.

“Dingy”

The good: Front-desk staff was wonderful, helpful and friendly. Great centrally located neighborhood with lots of restaurants in walking distance. Good rate for the location. The bad: kitchen dirty (counters, floor, dishes in cabinets), bathroom dirty (floor, counter), bedroom a bit dirty (sticky rings on the side table), hallway dirty, elevator smelled of smoke, noisy dog in next room, lumpy pillows, saggy mattress, weird/ poorly functioning thermostat, few cable channels, bent cable jack with poor connection, you have to pay for Internet and the base rate gets you a slow connection with poor connectivity, they try to sell you faster Internet for more money, you have to pay for shampoo, you have to get hairdryer from front desk. I will not stay here again.

“Won't be back anytime soon.”

We found the Homestead frumpy, out dated and not nearly as nice as when we stayed there a few years ago. Not even one water glass in the kitchen and a couple plates, an old pan and skillet. No handicapped rails in the bathroom and the stool was so low to the floor that it was all one could do to get down on it and back up. I am afraid I couldn't recommend this facility to anyone and it is close to a major teaching hospital and the Plaza.

“Last Resort Hotel”

Only stay here if all other locations facilities are booked.

“Good hotel for the price...would do it again.”

Need drinking cups. Otherwise perfect. stove, microwave, refrig. has it all and clean. heater was quiet also. bed comfortable. could use another pillow or 2 though.

“Okay stay”

I would recommend this hotel for its convenient location and if you are just looking for a place to stay warm and dry. Bare bones hotel that was clean, had a refrigerator to save money on breakfast, and close to the activities we wanted to enjoy.

“Needs a little cleaning”

The toilet in our bathroom was filthy. Just a little extra effort cleaning would be appreciated. The WIFI only worked sporadically.

“Dreadful. Not at all impressed.”

The rooms were small, old and the bed uncomfortable. We were there for five days( unfortunately pre paid so were unable to check out and go else where). No maid service unless you paid extra and we even had to ask the front desk for Toilet rolls.I must say that the front desk staff I spoke to were very pleasant, that is the only thing good about this Hotel.
